started unemployed with ADO Den Haag, signed a shitload of freebies.
Best player Knopper, King Osei and Dion Esajas
should seriously have a look at Martijn Roosenburg and/or Fagner

Anyone know if the regen's hair changes throughout their career?

Cause I swear one of mine did, he had long black hair and then I looked at him like a year later, and he has short brown hair

When I was Chamois Niortas, I had a keeper who changed his regularly. :|

Won the league and league cup with the Gers, Boyd and Burke winning prizes in the process. My under-19s are unbelievable. Probably could beat half of the SPL! Just got to play the CIS Cup final now against Celtic.

Potentially the domestic treble. :smug:

EDIT: Fulfilled. :smug:

Billy Sharp deserves a knighthood tbh.

Cool so I'm not just imaging it lol, it is happening :)

Though long black hair, to short brown hair is a bit crazy IMO lol

I'm no FM expert, but I highly doubt that your inability to retain leads is a game fault, rather a tactical error. I have to say that I don't personally notice that problem or the issue of many off-sides/disallowed goals in my Villarreal game.

With regard to van Persie's unhappiness, I can only speculate really. If your results are consistently poor, he may well be disappointed, particularly if you are a new manager, in which case he may not have faith in your ability. If you make frequent comments in the press about this that and the other, he may not like your style. If you don't handle him properly after good and bad performances then maybe he's feeling under-appreciated/unjustly treated.

I also have a similar problem with Inter Milan who won't stop bugging me about Matias Fernandez. I just refuse any enquiries they make and carry on regardless. Fernandez is tied down for the next 4 and a half seasons and is a professional character, so I'm not too bothered.

Van Persie is my top scorer. Am top of the table and doing really well. I have praised his performances on a number of occasions and he has responded positively on each occasion saying how he is enjoying his football. But his still has concerns such as 'wants to leave club', 'considering his options' e.t.c..

Van Persie is being a cunt with me but I found one great bargain buy. Buy this Belarusian centre back called Yegor Filipenko. Grimandi says that he is good and his market value is only 80K. If you need a good attacking player go for Arshavin of Zenit St. Petersburg, he is just like Hleb. Remy Riou is a very good 'keeper and Daniel Sturridge is also a great buy.

If anyone wants a challenge, try managing FC Emmen in the Dutch Second Division.

I took them over halfway through the season - wage bill of £33.5k, budget of £625.

Their best player, who's one of the strikers, hasn't scored since I took over. I have 2 points in my last 7 games - my most notable result was a goalless draw away to 4th in the league. Admittedly, they played the last half an hour with nine men. But great result, nonetheless. :nifty:

I recently started a new game with Aston Villa because my Man Utd file was starting to get boring, here's my squad,

I bought Flamini for £4m and Riga for £7m and I'm in the hunt for a right back so I can make Mellberg second choice. I went for Hutton but Rangers wanted £7m and I wasn't having that. I'm now trying for Justin Hoyte. I've only played two league games so far, first against Arsenal where I lost 1-0 but it really should of been more as Scott Carson kept me in it. Then I had Newcastle at St.James Park and I demolished them 5-1,

I picked top-half finish at the start of the season which I think is easily obtainable if I get more performances like that.

Ok, I got knocked out in the Confederations Cup at the semi-final by Argentina. Then after a few bad friendly results, draws and loses against teams like Italy,Brazil & England, suddenly I'm an under-fire manager.

I took Portugal to the Quarter-final at the World Cup. Confidence was high as I managed to scrape 2-0 win against Brazil in the Second Round, as they dominated that game, I think it was 15 shots-on-target compared to 3 for Portugal. I got Nigeria, and I lost to them, 5-3 on penalties. I decided to quit the job the day after.

Anyway, I'm still unemployed in July 2011. I always wanted the Inter job, but they gave it to ten Cate instead.

Does anyone know why my teams keep losing money every month after a certain year? It happened in my Ajax, Braga and Arsenal games, despite having commercial links with another clubs and having good runs in european competitions.

Small stadium then?
Or maybe something related to player's bonus like appearance fee, goal bonus, clean sheet bonus.

Depends on who you are. Zarate for £3m always seems to do the trick for me.

I got Zarate in my Middlesbrough season and he kept me alive and in 14th place, 18 goals in 32 matches or thereabouts.

Then I got fired. I was 14th and got fired with that shit squad.

Brought in Twellman, Onyewu, Dragontunovic, Zeefuik, Slavakowski, and victor moses.

I sold Johnathan Woodgate, won my first two matches after that, then dropped two and got canned despite being 5 points clear of the drop zone.

I quickly signed on at Celta in the heat of a promotion battle and I've won 3 straight and am 1 point out of the promotion. The board told me I would have a 20 million transfer kitty next season. I couldn't pass that offer up. If i get promoted I'm having a run at Riquelme and possibly buy Twellman back. After that I'll check the squad and may leave for a different league as Spain sucks with its domestic transfer rules.

Small stadium then?

I'm losing money because of that :( Well, sort of, my board keep giving me money every year to spend but even though I'm nowhere near my wage budget limit, there's only so far I can go with my stadium as it is, selling out all my season tickets and getting sellouts every week. Now my financial position is too poor to upgrade the stadium, not that it matters because I could never get planning permission anyway ¬_¬
