Break the bank for Torres. He scored 81 goals in a single season for me playing as a lone striker in a 4-2-3-1.

Decided to o Udinese, turn them into a genuine contender for the CL spots in the Serie A. Problem is I know fuck all about Serie A, and what tactics work over there. Could be fun.

Use 4-4-2

That's what I've used for my Napoli Game.

In my first season I bought Torje (for £500k), Aaritolo (for £250k, sold to Juve for £6mil) and Radoi (for £4mil, sold to Viola for £6mil) and got to 6th.

Currently in my second season pushing for a Champions League Spot.

Few funnies happen today.

Antonio Lopez was injured for a week so after my match with Real Zaragoza, I find that I have 3 new letters in my inbox. The first saying that Antonio Lopez is fully fit. The second saying that Antonio Lopez is now injured for 3 weeks and the third saying that the transfer fees that summer were a new record. The amount I spent on transfer fees was £43.5M. The previous record it says was £43.5M. :erm:

I got pretty sick of managing Crystal Palace after the 1st season and now I'm not sure which team to manage now.

Can anyone suggest any Championship teams who have a good, large squad and have a big transfer budget.

Thanks,
Berry

Thinking of starting in Russia for the craic. Never done it before and it could be a bit unique. I fancy a new game at somewhere pretty biggish but I'll start midway through the season and take over at an underachiever I think.

EDIT: Zenit are 9th, yet predicted 4th. I think I'll have them.

Won the league with them in my first season. Pogrebnyk scoring some pivotal goals. Came down to the final game, I was leadign Dinamo on goal difference. They took a goal lead early on, but after Tymoschuck tucked away a penalty after Denisov was hauled down to level, substitute Alejandro Dominguez scored the eventual winner to wrap the game up at 2-1.

I've not got too far in with this game yet really. Can't see myself staying at Zenit for ages though.

I actually started a new game over weekend with Everton, currently lying 5th a point behind Liverpool in 4th with a game in hand. 20 games played so far. Have managed a few very good results, beat Man United 1-0 at Goodison after they had won all 9 of their opening matches. Got a 1-1 at Anfield thanks to Tim Cahill in stoppage time from the peno spot :D

Signings wise I had a £10m transfer budget and came close to blowing it all on Van Der Vaart, then Villarreal came in with a bid of £7m for Arteta, I negotiated £2m plus Cani, great business in hindisght as Arteta is crocked for 4 months now and Cani has managed 14 assists in all competitions and 3 goals.

I signed Markus Rosenberg for £3m which could rise to £4m if he manages 20 goals for the club (in all competitions, 6 starts, 10 sub appearances ranging from 45 minutes to 5 minutes, and a grand total of 0 goals ) I think my £1m is safe.

Managed to bag Mathieu Delpierre for £3.4m too at centre back, Joleon Lescott picked up a 2 month injury pre-season and Delpierre came in and did exceptionally well and has kept his place since.

My final signing was Stephen Appiah for £4m, he's looked a very good player.

Now i'm struggling desperately to raise £10m to fund the permanent signing of Manuel Fernandes (clause in his loan contract) he's my current top performer, on loan from Valencia. If I can shift Rosenberg for £2-£3m and a couple more reserves I can hopefully raise that money, plus the club is making decent profits each month too.

Probably my only real downer so far this season was Steven Pienaar picking up a cruciate ligament injury, he'd been performing really well too, I didn't really have a choice but to terminate his loan contract to save myself a few quid a week.

I managed to add a few promising youngsters to my squad too, probably most notably Ignacio Camacho and Henri Saivet. The latter was promised first team football to coax him to Goodison but is currently in the reserves, I'm expecting good things from the kid, he scored a hat-trick against Man Uniteds reserves so I put him in the squad for an away game with Birmingham in the Carling Cup, I fielded a weakened team and he came on with 74 minutes gone, the match went to penalties and he missed the decisive one  Camacho is out on loan at Aberdeen, thought it'd be good to get him some first team experience and toughen him up a bit, he's played 8 matches so far for Aberdeen and has 3 assists and one goal, not bad for a defensive midfielder who's only 17/18.

Yakubu is my top scorer with 13 in 14 so far, Andy Johnson has been a good sub and replacement for the injured Yak, he's managed 7 goals in 6 starts and about 12 sub appearances.

I'm hoping for a strong end to the season and if I get into the UEFA cup I'd be happy, with the type of player I have they can improve and maybe break into the top 4 at some point.

I am fucking sick of this game. I have 9 fucking injuries to 1st teamers.

Gerrard - 5 months
Babel - 4 months
Mascherano - 4 months
Skrtle - 3 months
Dossena - 2 months
Maxi Rodriguez - 1 month
Georginio Wijnaldum - 3 weeks
Peter Crouch - 2 weeks
Daniel Agger - 1 week

Bearing in mind that all of them were for 4 or more months orginally. This game trys to fuck you over.

Saying that, I'm still winning the league by 9 points and I have only conceeded 3 goals in 16 games in the league.

I need some help, I've been working on a summer database, and, I've just run the database and noticed that I can no longer run the Scottish leagues.

Any help or advice will be appreciated.
