No. I was reading on the internet that the same thing happened to some guy and he sent his save file to his friend got his friend to simulate 1 game then when he got the save back off his friend it worked. Anyone willing to do this for me?

The game save maybe will not be compatible with other peoples though.
Some used the latest 8.0.2 patch and some still use 8.0.1.
Don't know if you use a custom database.

Alright, started FM again.
I've decided to go Atletico, and though I have a good squad, I think(like the coach suggests) my weakness is depth.

I could use some cover for players like Seitiridis(probably spelt that wrong entirely haha), I think players like Luis Perea could be converted to a fullback due to his electric pace, anybody help me with doing that ?.

I'm thinking of going for a 4-4-2, with Simao and Maxi on the the Right and Left, and Raul Garcia and(after calling him back) Maniche in the centre.

I have around 7M to burn, and am probably going to sell off one or two players(Miguel Mista for one) to bring in more money.

Anybody recommend some good players to bring in, mainly for a back 4, and a good formation that could work for Atletico ?.

I have a solid front two, with Aguero and Forlan.

I'm starting my database for the summer now, and require to know all the promotions and relegations around the world since they game has been brought out, this is because I understand that the leagues start at different times of the year.

any links or help would be very much appreciated.

No but if you mount an image file of the disc using daemon tools it will work.
Ok thanks, I've updated my version to 8.0.2 but for some reason none of the winter transfers have been done. It's definitely 8.0.2 because I checked on my game status.

EDIT: I've just realised that it doesn't update transfers and I have to download a database update.

Within the player's profile, go to the training section and choose the new position you want to train him to.

This is not mutually exclusive from existing routines.

Updated my database now. Had to start a new game for the changes to take effect not too bothered though as I'd only played 14 games and I now have a transfer budget of 35m instead of 8m. Torres' penalty taking attribute has finally been changed to 15 instead of 6 and Martin Skrtel is in my squad, hes brilliant.

Thanks mate.

I've signed Paulo Ferreira from Chelsea for just under 2M, and spent 2.4M on a player from a Polish club, Gargula. Seems to be a decent player, and will served as good backup.

Aguero, Maxi, Simao and Forlan have all been tied down on long deals with good high paying contracts, and Aguero has an asking price of around 40M, clubs have went for him and Maxi, and both have said they are more than happy to remain at Atletico, so I'm happy with that.

I could probably win the Intertoto, and I blitzed Hadjuk Split 5-0 at home in my UEFA Cup qualifier(dunno why I'm in both), Away leg I'm going to try a couple of younger players like Jurado and give Reyes another shot upfront, see what I can produce.

I'm looking for a CL Spot this season, seems achievable given my squad.
Reyes is immense, his ball control is ridiculous, I watched him weave through five players and score from about 20 yards, was a belter. He'll definitely be worth having to bring on I can tell you that.

I signed three new scouts, one with Argentinian, one with Brazillian, and one with Columbian/Paraguayan/Uruguyuan experience, I've sent him to see if he can unearth any good players, while the other two scour Brazil and Argentina. I'll let you know of any good players who come up.

There is a wingback that Forlan recommended to me, plays for Uruguay, worth about 5m, plays for Zaragoza. Looking into shipping off some surpluss players like Miguel Mista to try make up the money to buy him, be it January of next season.

Fernando Torres is by far the best player on the game when played in a 4-2-3-1 formation like below and here is the proof. He helped me win the quadruple :D

He scored 5 vs Chelsea.

He scored 5 vs Tottenham.

And scored an incredible 71 goals in all competitions, He only came 2nd in the European player of the year and didn't even feature in the English players' player of the year despite picking up the golden boot with 31 goals.

After a frankly awful second season at FC Emmen, I found myself a long way adrift at the bottom of the Eerste Divisie with five games to go, whilst being no closer to solving the club's dire financial situation.

A fantastic performance against Fortuna Sittard earned me a 2-1 victory, only my second league win of the calendar year and fourth in total.

Knowing that they were all playing to earn themselves lucrative contracts elsewhere (it would seem), I went on to take seven points from my last four games (winning my last two games) to climb back into 19th and condemn HFC Haarlem to the unenviable position of rock-bottom.

With no less than 13 of the first-team squad due to leave for nothing at the end of the season (including the club captain, both senior goalkeepers, the two first-choice centre-backs, two of my three best strikers - on of whom has been the club's top scorer for two seasons running, the only left-back on the club's roster and the first-choice right-winger), I am hopeful that I may be able to start to rebuild via financially sustainable means.

In total, those 13 players will be taking with them a weekly wage of over £18,000, which will officially bring me down to £4,000 beneath the weekly wage budget of £17,500 per week.

I've secured the signings of Cees Keizer (from Vitesse), who can play on the left-side of midfield, although I see him as a potential left-back, and creative midfielder Rik Sour (from MVV), who has bags of potential. Both are under 24 years old. I've also managed to poach Frank Korpershoek from amateur side ACV - my assistant thinks he's the 3rd best centre-back at the club. This bodes well, as the other two are leaving - which means he's better than the rest of the shite. Likely to play most games next season.

I've got a striker called Björn Zwikker who is likely to get plenty of playing time and make the breakthrough from the Reserves next season, as well as a decent right-back who will probably spend a lot of time at left-back.

All-in-all, if the board offer me a new contract I reckon I'll finally start to secure the club a firm financial foothold after a year and a half of working towards it.

Grass roots for the win!

Nifty, that Cees Keizer was an absolute diamond on one of the old school CM's. I always loaned him and a right-back called Dwight Tiendelli if possible. Alongside that, I tried to raid Wimbledon too.

Man, I spent so much of my teenage years on CMs and FMs. I sould have tried to get balls deep more often instead tbh.

Taken over at Ghana, alongside my Stoke job, and they're already in the World Cup. Just beat Costa Rica 4-1. Got Italy and Turkey to play in the group stages. Sadick Adams is a bit of a legend.

I'm sure he'll go on to become an FC Emmen legend in my current game - although it won't be with me as his boss. They decided not to offer me a new contract.

I'm not too sure how to play it at the moment - whether to go and find a challenge somewhere in Portugal's lower leagues (maybe a newly-promoted club) or to sit tight and wait for a decent job.

VfB Stuttgart were relegated from the Bundesliga, and I have just applied. I'm not hopeful, though, as it's too high-profile a job (after an unsuccessful spell at Colchester, and what was a test of man-management more than anything else at Emmen, I have little going for me!).

Wolves were also relegated to League 1, but I don't want to go back to England - at least not for the time being.

EDIT: I just accepted the managerial position at Clube Desportivo Cova da Piedade, a Portuguese semi-professional club based in the province of Setúbal, in the coastal city of Almada.

According to Wikipedia.org, notable natives of the city are Luís Figo, Carlos Sousa (the rally pilot) and hip-hop band, Da Weasel.

Our home kit is purple. This was the main attraction. I will report back on progress.
