In the "Display & Sound" section of the game preferences, check the "Show Unique IDs" box.

This will display your ID below your name on your profile screen. Then create the config.xml file for the graphic accordingly. The file, in essence, needs to contain as below:

Therefore, if you make a folder inside your My Docs\SI\FM 2008\graphics\pictures folder called "Wellzy," and inside there save a "wellzy.jpg" of you, and your unique ID is 1394675646 (that's what mine is in my current game, the code will look as below:

This needs to be saved into the same folder as the picture under the config.xml filename!

EDIT: Remove the space after the tag opening in each case!

Also, is there a way of determining which database you are currently using? I have the FMFormation Database Update, and think I am using that in my current game, but cannot be sure. There doesn't seem to be anywhere that tells you? Are there some temporary files created during the game that might tell me?

Here is my squad going into the 08/09 season. I have had to spend big and also sell big. I've spent around £50million! With the signings of Thierry Henry (£17m) , Rolando Bianchi (£14.5m), Petri Pasanen (Bosman), Matias Fernandez (£12.5m), Thiago Motta (Bosman) and Antonio Lopez (£10.5m)! Outgoing I sold Ryan Babel for £17m, Xabi Alonso for £15m and John Arne Riise for £12m.

As you can see a squad overhaul. We underachieved last year, comfortably in 4th the majority of the season, but the final few weeks we seemed to have run out of steam and dropped to 7th. I've got a training schedule which is working wonders, probably the strongest Youth Academy in England with some top names coming up such as Dani Pacheco, Sacho and a couple of Barcelona hot prospects.

Im hoping this is the year my Liverpool side make a great title challenge.

Try to go to Options > Game Status.

I think it should be there somewhere.

Luckily for me I had a saved copy from an in-game week prior to the error so loaded that up. I continued as before, saved over the problematic file and it's been fine since. No idea what caused the error still.

I have £11'000'000 to spend with Liverpool. I want a striker to replace Voronin. Any recommendations? Preferably someone who is quite young, will get their fair of goals and develop well.

I have signed 10 youth players mate. Don't accuse me of cheating, I do not like it, had enough of that from thick women:mellow:

But on the other hand, after what you said, I thought fuck it, I'll give Krisztian Nemeth a bash. First game against Boston United. 12 minute hat trick. He can be back up behind Crouch and Kuyt for 4 months seeing as Torres just got injured :(

Well they got ripped off. I had a bid of 6.9 and 50% Sell on clause accepted :ninja: I didn't end up buying him though. Cancelled it and stuck with Nemeth! Scored against Toulouse woooop!

Are Ac Milan like the richest club on the game or something:S

I'm trying to build a squad where I have two teams of eleven pretty much.

I managed to get Champions League football in my first season, just pipping Liverpool on the last day by beating Spurs,



Highlight of the season had to be when I beat Utd 6-0 in the league,



Only problem now is that I have about 9 players who are all wanted by Europe's elite clubs. I'm managing to hang onto them but a few are now unhappy.
