It would've taken you about 60 seconds of reading, if that, to come across this:

Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Local Security Policy -> Security Settings -> Local Profiles -> Security Options -> Change "Devices: Unsigned driver instatllation" to Silently suceed if not already set to that.[/QUOTE]

I went into administrative tools and there isnt an option for local security policy.

It has to be there. Do you have full administrative rights? I've assumed you do but if you don't, that's probably where your problem is starting.

it really isn't here. could it be under a different name or something? and i don't really know, how would i find out if i do have full admin rights

Started another game off as man city; transfer budget of around £80mil, doubt i'll play this for too long as it just feels like cheating.

Brought in Shay Given, Pavel Srna, Michael Owen, Pablo Aimar(bastard took me to the cleaners to get him to sign a contract) Lucio, some other brazilian defender, Belletti and ferrara(for defensive cover).

Might try and get Kaka in jan.

Apparently Kevin Poole's at Burton Albion - bring him in, decent back up. Fuck me Nigel Clough's still playing there and all! They MUST be bought.

Golly!

I'd given the game a rest for a bit because I have a fairly heavy start to the week. First game back with Liverpool, and my first defeat, away at Marseille. The fans were actually pleased with that. A good positive second half failed to overturn the 2-0 half time defecit I had, 2-1 not an awful result.

However, four days later and Chelsea, who had won their last four, were sitting pretty on top of the table, and the only team in the league except me to be unbeaten (and I'd drawn three games to their one).

I can honestly say that, 40mins in, 0-0 , I didn't expect five goals in the next 20mins of game time - and a good 3-2 lead I had, although I was 3-1 up at one point. I definately didn't expect a Torres long shot, and a Xabi Alonso 40 yarder [empty net] to give me an astounding 5-2 win. Wows!

This was followed by a 1-0 win over Stoke, who have to be the dirtiest team I've ever seen. Incredibly comfortable win, just couldn't score. I actually had 2 at the back for the whole of the second half, when they took off their only striker when Diao got sent off.

I beat Sunderland easily 3-0, finally getting into the groove now... and finally the news I've been waiting for...

A transfer budget of £14m! Already activated the clause in my loan deal for Sneijder, and negotiating a contract with him now. But apparently details of my offer were leaked, so other clubs may be after him.
EDIT: Signed Sneijder for an initial £1m, rising to the agreed £2.5m over the next 24 months.
And in my next game, he celebrated by coming off the bench to score the only goal of the game, with a brilliant free kick, against Marseille in the 87th minute.

So what are everyone’s general opinions on the game?? Is it actually any better or different from the last game? Do you still get the most unrealistic transfers ever still happening? e.g. Robin Van Persie joining Real Zaragoza for 45m...

Aside from Man City signing everything in sight (I expect they'll try and sign me when we play them), I think the transfers are pretty realistic.

Sneijder is truly amazing, two long free kicks just gave me a 2-1 win over Blackburn. And I have about £12m left of my budget, I am thinking of signing a replacement for the disappointing Degen. Anyone have any idaes? I am keeping an eye on Micah Richards, but I might go for an even younger player, and train him up while giving Degen a second chance.

It seems realistic for now. I'm only a few months in but I can actually see some similarities between my Ajax team and the real Ajax...most displeasing. Riquelme just signed with me for about 12m and Twente leads the league, both unlikely in real life but nothing extravagant.

Things are going well... mid December

League - unbeaten, and joint top with Arsenal, and I have a game in hand.
League Cup - in the semi final against Blackburn
Champions League - just qualified, had to beat Spartak in my final game to stay in the tournament, and a brace from Olic (who is proving a genius buy; particularly after lengthy injuries to Torres and Keane) saw me win 2-0 with a brilliant performance

Transfers - Olic and Sneijder are proving themselves, and I have decided to spend my budget on future prospects, as I think my squad is good enough. Negotiating over John Bostock, Zakarie Boucher, Fausto Rossi and Lukman Haruna. Quite pleased with my negotiating, I have had offers accepted for them all, after haggled the clubs down to a price closer to my valuation than theirs.

EDIT: Signed all four. Might try and sign a young defender too.

Apparently they've re-coded the whole transfer system so maybe that has made a difference..
