May be too late here, but no.
You may be one of the lucky few to get a decent running game. If that were the case then I'm sure it's a great game and the best FM yet. For the rest of us, however, this game is bugged to shit and absolutely unplayable. Even with the 9.3 patch installed it's made zero difference.

The 9.3 patch has made a lot of difference for me, zero amount of bugs and this game really runs well for me, I don't have a super machine at all (quite the opposite) so yeah I'd recommend it to anyone.
I think FM2008 was better but this one isn't far off, disable the 3D camera and you're sorted :smug:

Well at the minute I just imported all the proper kits, logos and player faces and installed the 9.3 patch. Not sure about the bugs yet as I've only played 1 friendly game to see what it's like and saved it up.
Oh and I sold Adebayour for 15m.
I'm just playing FM 2008 with a database I downloaded that had the vast majority of transfers done to February which I've updated with a number of things that were missed (updated Red Star Belgrade squad, Serie B transfers/loans/co-ownerships) and recent events (Adriano fucking off because he's weak). The only attribute changes are reducing Adriano's mental abilities to make them realistic and lowering Balotelli's sportsmanship....to 1. Isn't affecting him though.

My game runs perfectly fine (zero crashes whatsoever), until the first match day of the league. Then it just implodes. I can't get through two days game time without a crash dump error, 'array out of bounds' or just a general freeze.
Shame, as one of these days I would actually like to get beyond 2 seasons in an FM game. :faceplm:

In my Arsenal game (not been on it in ages now, don't get round to it these days) he can't stop scoring, as much as I hate the man he's bearable as long as he's scoring Speaking of that I think I'll go on it soon, maybe tomorrow.

If RB14 Arsenal's game is up to scratch, then it could be fine for you. My PC has a history for pissing me off at the most inappropriate times.
Sweey:- How has 2008 'dated'? I'm interested in going back and starting on a previous version, and the only one I have besides 2008 is Champ Man 01/02. The latter would probably give me headaches as Silvestre would be ranked as a world-class left back and Wayne Rooney would be pre-"remember the name!".
Its still great as long as you've got an up-to-date database. I don't mind uploading the one I'm using for people to access.

It was the database I sent you via PM that I created about a month or so ago. I'm guessing by your answer you haven't tried it.:lol: I'm a few games into the second season and I've realised that the database will need a few minor tweaks anyway.Sorry, which database is that?
