i currently play on top player. its a challenge but ive had years of playing iss and pro so i should be ok.

Every year I go up a level. This year I'm on Top Player and its fine to be honest, except they have increased the difficulty of defending, which is good because if you didn't want to concede on the old one, you usually didn't!

Top Player is much harder this time round. On previous versions I could win the Master League on Top Player with the default players, now I can't keep a clean sheet! But I'm not sure whether it's because the AI has improved or because defending and tackling are kinda faulty, which is something many people seem to have noticed

ps2 top player seems quite hard. you seem to concede late in the game and its much harder to defend.

Atm i playing with Top Player and im crying every time =<. The Teamvision makes top player much much harder than it was on pes6, tho i think they have made AI too good considering starting the ML. Its just not realistic when one AI controlled player just runs past your defence and pushes your defenders to the ground and scores.

yea this has been happening to me! wouldnt mind if the fucker sold me a dummy or 2 on the way but he just runs right through my defender!

I'm also playng on Top Player for my Master League, and I've started with the good old retarded team, with a couple of youngsters thrown in e.g. Giuseppe Rossi, Kasper Schmeichel etc.

To be honest, I'm finding it ridiculously frustrating. I don't think Konami have actually improved the difficulty of the game at all, I merely believe they've adjusted the Computer teams so that their players gain a large "stat-boost" for games against human-controlled players. Everyone will have an idea of what I'm talking about, as several poor players from even poorer clubs will embark on a run so long the player ends up in China. They also appear to have the dribbling speed of one Diego Maradona, and can easily sidestep every tackle in sight. If that doesn't work, they'll sure enough decide to bulldozer their way through the pitch, killing any opposition in sight whilst not giving away a single free-kick.

All of this combined with slower reactions from your own players, faster gameplay and an uneven balance favouring attack over defence means it's nigh on impossible at times to win matches. I started my Master League again and I'm now 2 matches into it, won my first match 2-0, but then lost my second 3-0, it's quite laughable really.

I got it for ps2 and i think its dead easy to attack but to defend it could be difficult.But i think computer is dead hard in ps3

I played on Top Player with the ML original players and I struggled.

Got to the negotiations and only managed to get like 2 half decent players, which didn't really benefit me at all because the rest of the ML players are god awful and will let you down even if you have 1 or 2 decent players.

I decided to re-start the Master League, still on Top Player, with a non-big team (I chose Rangers) with the match mode players, and I'm doing great :) Now that I have a solid decent squad who can defend and get goals.

Yeah it is dead hard to do A Master League with The Random players and specialy whent the level is on Top Player and the master league level is on Very hard
