In last 3 seasons, my team salary was above 250m. I set the all the staffs on level 5, as well as the youth team and fan club which would add up the running cost for 70m per season. I managed to survive each season by at least selling 2 players each year. I'm gonna sell my reserve players such as Gourcuff, Higuain, or maybe Torres (though I'm kinda reluctant to sell a spanish player) at the end of my 8th season. I'm building younger and cheaper team to run. So far I've bought a few reborn players such as Makelele, Javier Zanetti, Beckham, Raul.

I am going to FIFA too, different reason though, I can not see knonami ever, that is EVER winning this race, Dave Rutter is streets ahead in moving FIFA forward, I have only just started playing FIFA, I am enjoying it more, VIRTUAL PRO is the game I have been wanting for a few years now, PES just has not moved forward enough for me, hopefully they will start actually listening and be driven by the fans rather than their own ideas of what will make the game good, they peaked sometime ago, its time to save PES from themselves.

That happend to me in the first weeks of ML.
I did not restart the ML because it was only one player, who had to go.

After all, i'm in the 5th Season right now and have only about 4 players from the beginning. I have a cap of about 140mio. and all the staff levels are maxed out. No problem so far.

And one of the best things every year, is to see how the new players fit in the team. Also, there is one 15-16 year old newbie every year, with great stats.

I never said i was leaving. I sold pes, got fifa, dont really like it atm and also pes is so much better. But i just cba to spend 2 months again getting my team to that level again. Fifa seems to slow and the shooting is more balloon like than ever before. Pes 2010 has been the best pes imo. The gameplay only needs a few touches like more annimations and better keepers whereas fifa needs so much work doing to it its basically gona be in a rut for the next 5 years. Fifa is good to look at in movement but its so sluggish.

Pes is a million miles better but as i have said i am only getting fifa due to my ML being ballzed up. In my defence they didnt really explain fully that the figure in the top right was your total money. It implied that my wages had already been deducted and that figure is what i had to spend on players. And no i am not going to sim matches.

Im am one of the pes faithful having played it all my life. ^^Post above i agree apart from calling me a beginner. I had it on autosave to stop myself from cheating the transfer system but that meant when i blew 71 mil of gourcuff + 40 odd mil on other players i had brankcrupt myself. Even if i had spent nothing i would of barely broke even to put things in perspective.

Before I enter a Transfer Window - I ALWAYS copy a saved game file in case this kind of thing happens.

I also do this if the player I want to buy does not want to join ... then I can go to the duplicated saved game and restart the Transfer negotiation and then get my man.

Happy days.

cry me a river, I would concider throwing you a liferaft but you're too busy drowning in self pity.
This is by no means a good reason to throw a game out of the window, and the scenario is even plausible. If certain banks started to demand some paybacks soon, this is exactly what will happen to Real Madrid. And it should happen, megadepths the size certain clubs have, is the main reason we have so few contesters to CL trophy.
