Guiterrez ( i find he comes on a treat to play in the middle of 3 strikers up front)
Ruskin (his speed is usefull to keep as a full back)
El Moubarki (becomes somewhat of a utility man, as his height and heading ability comes in usefull in centre mid, or centre half, i rarely use him as a full back)

noglau is an old german whos a quick striker and cheap to buy wen u start off.

as for tmorautki just luk for him, hes a kinda hidden gem. i think hes german too.

p.s. iv never heard of em either but does that matter? if they put the ball in the net their hired!!

a player to avoid who is decievingly crap 'aissati'. he id easily shoved off the ball and too many of his passes go astray.

Tmorautki - not sure who this player is
Carlton Cole - no no no, can get a much better younger striker
Micah Richards - Yeah great buy, improves loads, becomes great player
Albert Luque - injury prone, rotten, flop
Claus Jensen - getting on a bit
Noglau - not sure who this player is
Lucio - good CB but wont improve as quite old
Makaay - lethal striker, wont last more then 2 season, old
Nuno Gomes - pure crap, slowest striker ever
Lahm - good player, small but good. Young and will improve
Olefenjana - not bad, can do better
Nakamura - crap stats, hit and miss with free kicks. Lightweight

ya can do much better then some of these players.

I bought Carlos Tenario at the start of the ML. He's cheap and tears chunks out of most defenses in the 2nd division. 5 goals in his first 2 games at top player is not bad. Don't know how he improves if at all.

My first purchase was Beckham. Great for corners and is accurate from longer distances. I plan on keeping Ruskin and El Moubarki as well. Since Beckham is listed under other-clubs, he is easy to purchase and is cheap. I started my ML over again...long story...I started with Guardado Mexican LWB and Ochoa Mexican Goalie. Guardado is developing pretty fast and Ochoa is a good goalie. Not developing too fast, but after a couple seasons he will be great.

Not sure which CF I will keep.

maybe you can do much better. these are the best of the bunch i bought. for good value too. im now top of league in 1st div on top player in my 3rd season so they have served me well. as for the much better players, please, carry on...

even my 1st buy was Beckham as he was kinna easy 2 get. :p.......
i bought Klose Yepes etc. Castolo n other strikers r pretty good as their skills get better match by match. Lookin forward to makin 1 heck of a team.........
Next player will be Henry :D.

Some of my best players (players who go rediculously good)

Matthew Taylor (great SB or SMF or DMF, he starts OK but his stats go sky high)

Michael Owen (I play as Newcastle so I get him anyway, they've really bumped him up on this one, he becomes an absolute goal machine after one season)

Alan Smith (see above, except he dips to begin with then becomes top notch)

Rooney (this one's obvious)

Van Der Vaart (expensive but even in old age his stats are great)

Bos (Dutch defender, appears randomly)

Shaw (English midfielder, see above)

I'm interested in the ML players to keep part aspect of this thread. I actually got rid of Gutierrez because I got a good offer and needed the money. I have kept El Moubarki, Ruskin, Lothar, Van den Berg and Dodo. They fully deserve their places in my squad.

I'm not really interested in buying the best players, I just want to build 'my kind of team', and that varies with different ML games. This time, I'm focussing on fast-breaking, transitional football, and lots of Rookies. The title WILL be mine in (game-time) 20011-12....

Interestingly, I read once that Henry liked to try and dominate the ML with all the DEFAULT ML players (Njorgo, Barota, etc). Do you think he's for real? Or just being arrogant?

rumneys right about owen and smith, they are both around 36 now and are still amazing players!

i have just added an option file to my ps3 and part of this included player names. i have just found out that:

noglau= oliver nueville

tmorautki=trochowsky (maybe spelt slightly wrong)

ye Trochowski is great in my team
i bought him first season and the first match he played he was top form and scored a hat trick
