i think pes 2011 is a good game

, pes 2011 is a good game its not perfect but its justifiable i think there are more people who enjoy the game rather than dislike it when bought

i enjoy playing pes 2011, well.... it has some flaws like AI scripting sometimes and not able to switch to nearest defenders quick enough to stop opposition attackers. But the game in general is entertaining, i can score some spectacular goals in tough matches(like against SPAIN on top player level), its great feeling for me.

everybody is different, people can have their own says and opinions about pes 2011. But complaining a lot will not change the content of current pes 2011 game, i must say some essential improvements and changes will be definitely need for this game and future pes 2012, lets wait and hope that positive changes will come to the game asap,

i BELIEVE those changes will come soon for pes fans.

Find the scripting talk beyond laughable and I'm a person who doesn't believe it exists either. It's in my mind an excuse to moan because something bad happened to you. Scripting would mean nothing could prevent it happening, yet I can hold the ball up for the entire game, proving scripting is bollocks. Tell me I'm wrong, I wont and never will believe it. I disagree people moan about scripting because of difficulty(sometimes) as it works both ways, Seabass himself admitted years ago their is a mechanism in the game that makes goals more likely in certain situations depending on time and other contextual situations. Don't have a problem beating the AI if I concentrate 100%(offline master league) and I also like the challenge, however scripting has always been in PES and it works both for and against you. Konami just need to balance it out slightly, without any scripting current AI in football games would not be able to function, hopefully in the future we will see more organic AI that is more respectful of stats ect. I also think the AI is clever in ML in different situations, I like the way it changes formation throughout the game and you have to counter this.

Certainly worded it wrong. Of course scripting exists in gaming, however what I meant was not to the extent that people are claiming here. Scripting exists in games, but it doesn't exist to a point of 'it's scripted that the opponent will score and you can not stop it happening', which is what people are saying here and it's not true.

Ok ok, there is no CPU AI cheating, thats why there is a PC patch out designed to stop cheating AI......

Oh yea and when my keeper runs away from goal to save a ball thats going about 10 yards wide, saves it some how into the path of the opposition player, who squares it so the CPU AI now has an open goal, thats my fault, even though i press no fucking buttons, and even though the GK should have let the ball go WELL wide.

Ah man thats really shot up my flag pole, you are spot on, Goalkeepers are a facking disaster on PES2011.

I cannot work out for the life of me why when I hold Triangle my goalkeeper does a 'Xabi Alonso' ... forwards ... backwards ... forwards ... for fook sake.

Must be to allow forwards a chance on goal. On PES2011 Goalies were out like whippets sweeping up loose balls so it must be a redressing of the balance,

the thing i dont like about master league is the transfers........in pes2011 you can change the transfer frequency lower, medium, or high unlike in 2010 where you couldnt but i have it on low and there are stilll a ton of transfers.

its insane, i quit a whole ML season over it, just to change the damn setting, you know in my ML by Jan, about 1 million players had changed teams, fucking Wesley Sneijder had left inter and gone to Sevilla or some other club, ridiculous.

And I haven't seen this PC patch as I'm on 360. Is it called 'cheat' patch/? Is that what Konami officialy realesed it as? Or are you just going over the top again in calling it a cheat patch, when instead it's a patch to fix certain things, not cheats.

Man, no need to really be immature. I don't work for Konami or I don't want to bum seabass as somebody will likely be childish enough to say. You're entitled to your opinions as I said before, not going to be a dick and hate on you for it, I just find it hilarious that people use the word CHEATING because something goes wrong for them on a game. It's like the people who would die on Mario or lose a race on GT and claim it cheated them, when in fact it didn't. No denying scripting, scripting is not CHEATING.

It doesnt really matter what it is, they just need to make ai less lame, get rid of rubberband mechanism, when you play a game you feel that you know what is going to happen.

I have stopped playing this only because of all the ai stupidness, and the curved throughballs that are way too much for the bad defense.

Mate my keeper didnt have a spasm. I was beating barcelona and then something happened that has NEVER happened in any game of pes ever.

Barca player does a low shot, it trickled slowly well wide of goal (may have got deflection) are talking WELL WIDE, about 7/10 yards wide.

Keeper chases the ball down (straight away that alarmed me, he should have left it)

Messi from Barca decides to chase the ball down too.

Keeper gets there 1st, should be an easy collect.

Instead keeper does a SAVING animation,

Saves it to messi, messi square it for villa open goal, Barca equalize.

Dont fucking blame me for that shit, thats the CPU engineering an equalizer for itself.

The PC patch is made by a guy called Komu who modifies the .exe ive seen people say it works, there is a whole thread on it, check it out, its getting alot of hype.

You wont agree, which is fine, but to be honest, either you dont play on top player, or your a bit of an apologist.

And before anyone starts, its not about people getting upset because of losing, as sminky pinky says, we are winning games, its the robbery of clean sheets that piss me off.

However, what is interesting is some say the cheating has been toned down since the patch.

I'm a PES veteran and am used to AI 'skullduggery' but I simply cannot believe how extreme it is in 2011.

I (somewhat radically) decided that I would immediately restart a fixture in the event of a laughable AI 'spasm'... Problem is...I've just restarted my latest fixture 5 times ! 3 Own goals following defensive BULLSH!T plus a couple of your usual lame goalie spoon-outs and two goalie nutmegs!!

I've just come back on the forum to find out if the patch didnt actually work for certain people... I've still got the non-tackling on the by-line thing going on and my shooting and cursor changing hasnt changed at all.
And most importantly, cheat moments have massively increased.


Weird though..,as usual its still remains very addictive.

Bit of a lurker but heres my point of view.

As soon as you start with the omfg the ai cheats etc... Did you see that, f*ck off thats bull****. You heading down the wrong path, take a break stop playing for a while but most of all remember its a game. Restarting the game i normally find your already in a bad mood and its not going to improve unless you get off to an excellent start or get a lucky break next time. Its not worth it.

Are you telling me you've never profited from the same scripting that you've lost goals by, I have lots of times, the ai scores their own own goals, the ai keeper sometimes forgets the importance of the ball and just stands there.

So while yes there is scripting and its evident that its there and annoying, what goes around comes around. I still take the stance that simply losing the ball at bad times or in bad areas its fundementally me at fault when i get scored on, i accept for instance unlike some that if the player gets 1 on 1 with my keeper you can expect to be scored on.

Just like you have a keeper making a save but it still goes past him under him or over, it happens to ai keepers too.

On Top Player you can expect to get it handed heavily on a plate with cheating on top, yes the ai basically says deal with it, and i think thats something you've got to respect, play on that level if you can or get out of the kitchen, or go play fifa for easy mode.

Im not knocking you its the the way it is.

For the record, I've had more 'unlucky' breaks against me in the last 3 DAYS than the total number I've received in my favour since first playing circa PES3 and in any case I'd estimate that out of all those that were in my favour, 99% were what I'm going to term "realistic defensive mix-ups"

AS I said, I've always accepted the AI weighting algorithms. This year is just doing my head in. Also I just installed the patch again and it's crashing as soon as I've loaded up my master league save...which is mildly annoying !
