This will be the best game ever. I used to play number one System link at a mates with loads of us and it never got old. Same with number two but we took that online. It was a bit laggy but that is because it was so popular. Hopefully number 3 can eliminate lag and keep the old greatness and make a deadly team.

you could not beat system link I enjoyed halo 1 more because of the map blood something(can't quite remember) but it was bigger in h1, had some good matches back in the day. quick question is there any system link on the 360 or do you have to get live?

Blood Gulch was class. Most levels all had top drawer eliments to them. I am unsure about system link on 360 but my guess is Microsoft would be greedy and say no.

Well it would be great if it was out in April as it's my birthday that month but if I remember correctly halo 2 suffered a lot of set backs now this may not be the case for h3 but then again you never know just hope it is a early release.

Can't wait for this either. Spent far too much of my uni days playing Halo 1/2 and Pro Evo with the lads. Halo 3 looks fucking awesome.

If the graphics of Gears of War are anything to go by Halo 3 will be awesome. As mentioned above I've had some great link-up games with my mates in the past, but then in saying that the X-box Live Halo community is full of a bunch of idiots that make up for their shit game playing by saying the word “fag” constantly.

No point in me creating a new thread for Halo 3, but they have just announced that there will be online co-op, after all the rumours that there would not be, up to 4 players can play as well. I'm very happy with this as its so much easier just to get online with a few mates and play co-op instead of having to get 'em round to play, much better then playing the story on your own as well.

4 player CO-OP over Xbox live makes me hard. Me and my mates have a few goes on Vegas Story mode or Terrorist hunts and they are fun but seriously 4 players playing CO-OP over Live will Halo will be awesome. You'd even be able to do it on Legendary :smug:

I just saw a teaser trailer for Ninja Gaiden 2 on Live, so I'm more excited about that as it is the sequel to one of my favourite games of all time. It will be fucking awesome.

Apparently people are already buying the game from Argos and Comet, so I'm guessing some shops are selling them early. To be fair, I've never played the other Halo games, and I'm already too excited with the COD4 Beta, that and I'm skint. So I'm just going to wait until the Halo Demo is released, rather than risking around £35.

Gears of War didn't have a demo and that was considered a huge game for Microsoft, and Halo is much, much bigger.
