I like that in the vid he misses more than he scores ;)

I tried this technique last night with falcao and didn't score a all, I'll persevere though.

Yeah, i had a hard time this weekend trying this out. I didnt get it yet. Players keep heading the ball to the moon. I will insist though.

Btw, crossing using LB+B has much better results. But not for corners. Is it called "early cross"?

Yeah L1 cross every time for me, otherwise 9/10 times it goes to the keeper.

I still can't get this heading lark. Does R2/Rb (finesse) make a difference to the heading?

I'm struggling too. I don’t have a problem with getting to the ball. Problem is with having a powerful header that is actually going somewhere. Most of the time the ball is like bumping of the head of my player. Eish so frustrating. I tried different power on the square button (ps3). The results are same. The difference is the same....lol

Try this...
Once you have control of the player with the best height / jump and heading ability, move the player around (don't stand still) and cross the ball in whilst moving the player. You'll see where the ball's going to go due to the marker. Move the player towards the marker (LB (manual aim) + shoot button) and bang, back of the net!

I score a header from a corner every other game.
When I had Jaap Stam in my team, I once scored a hatrick of headers all from corners.
Please persevere, it does work.

I'll try it. Are you suggesting to direct the player to the marker or the goal?

1) I don't play online, therefore I'm not sure if this even works online!
2) This is a topic which is helping people to actually score with their head. Without this info it is near on impossible to score a header as usually the ball just floats over the bar.
3) I am a massive fan of this game but Konami often hold back on important gameplay info, resulting in people who pay out a lot of their hard earned cash left feeling disappointed and let down.
This also ends up with forums like this being full of posts of resentment.
4) I do score a header every other game, but it is down to my skill, not due to a glitch or a cheat.

Believe me, this topic really isn't to help cheaters. It's to help with an important part of gameplay - set pieces.

1) It works online. Trust me. It works. Corner is, thanks to you and other who revaill this kind of stuff, like a penalty.

2) If you need help how to score against AI in offline match... well, i dont have words... Dont be affended, but - train more. Your skill is, how can i say, you dont have it.

3) Konami does not need to reveal how to "cheat" and score from corner like from penalty. This is normal for you?

4) No, that has nothing to do with skill. Its a glitch. Very simple.


Thanks to video on youtube, more and more players are using this glitch. So now we have trough ball spamers, corner abusers and dc cheaters. Well done.
