How are you doing in Master League?

I am Man City and I am level on points with Chelsea at the top of the league and I am playing them next in the title race, should be intersting.
I was coasting in first by like 7 points then a string of bad results (defeats against Bolton, Wolves, Utd and Fulham (I think) and draws against Birmigham) have left me level on points, I found the problem was I wasn't scoring enough and not taking my chances, as Adebayor isn't good in this game, Santa Cruz is too slow and Bellamy couldn't hit a barn door with a machine gun so I went to try and get a striker and I managed to get my primary target Luis Fabiano to lead my attack, unfortuanly I half to wait until the end of the season, I also managed to secure the services from Ronaldinho who is incrediably slow but I kind of have a soft spot for him.
I will let you know if I beat Chelsea.

Well I beat Chelsea 5-0 (on professional), Tevez scored 2, Robinho scored 2 and Zabaleta scored.

had a good end to the season. won the cup against villa 2-1. won the cl against real madrid 4-2 on penalties. game finished 1-1
good high scoring games on two of the last two games and then 2-1 against
tottenham.
i dont see any players being brough, although i might sell evra.
owen just about out did aguero in the last few games to grab top scorer again.

I have beaten Fiorentina 3-1 in the CL, a game where Agger, Insua, and Rasmus were all sent off, Aquilani got injured, and Gerrard was already injured. Kinda bad luck in that game. Before that, I got RAPED 5-3 by ManU, I set the first goal, but they jumped out of nowhere and scored a goal after a goal...Couldn't stop them. Now I have made a tie with Chelsea, and I'm 3 points away from first place. Benayoun and Riera are both getting worse each time that passes, eventhough I really like them and it's hard for me to switch them. Gerrard is also losing his touch, even though he is second top scorer in my team, while Torres is first. I got my eyes on Silva to replace Gerrard in a season or two. Looking for an normal winger to replace riera/benayoun around the 25's age, with normal stats, around 70+, and isn't a superstar.

Just to update everybody, I went on and took the league title after the Chelsea game with tough fixtures against Everton, Tottenham and Arsenal, the title decider was at Arsenal, and I won 2-0.
Just to add btw, I said my strikers were not scoring, altogether they got 25goals, Santa Cruz- 10, Bellamy- 9 and Adebayor- 6, compare that to Luis Fabiano and he got 26 goals on his own! I will let you all know if he turns out to be beastly, and if you should get him.
So now I am going to the Champions League, so I am trying to make my squad actually look like a Champions League squad. I will let you all know how I get on.

Besides the result, Sevilla actually played okay. Kanute was pretty good, but I didn't notice Fabiano at all.
In my last season in ML (also in 2010) I bought Fabiano, and he was a big disapointment. The only things he's good as, is heading. By the way, I think thats how he scored against me aswell
I hope you can use some of this.
I promise that I will look out for Fabiano i the Cup-final tomorrow, and give a scoutreport

Yh lol, this is awesome. I got the idea for this thread from the BAL Section where there is a thread called 'The 'How are you doing in BAL' Thread'... So I made my, or should I say our, own thread for Master League - and it's a huge succsess
Anyway, My 4th season is going great. 1st in the league, in Champions League Semi-Final, In FA Cup final, and litterally winning every game now!
I think I may switch to the Top Player difficulty next season, just to see how it goes...
Ok need some help again, I need a good left back, I have Insua but I have no back-up now...
And I need a good centre midfielder.
Lucas performs so much better than Aqaulani, so I might sell Aquilani and buy another midfielder..
To be honest, Lucas is probably my best midfielder for the past 2 seasons, he is always match fit and he plays well..

Try Atouba- Ajax he is a good left back and can score goals. He is relatively cheap, however I cant remember his age. If Ajax have sold him in yours, he is from Cameroon, if you look up nationalality.
If you want DMF get De Jong imo.

Just had a brilliant match, well not for me.
Luis Fabiano scores after 9 mins,
Luis Fabiano scored again 23 mins.
Wright- Phillips scores on 34 mins.
So 3-0 up against Liverpool before 35 mins and totally dominating, then I scudded myself, I said don't let them score before half time or they have a chance, what happens......Babel after 40 mins, getting a bit nervous, but never mind I said to myself.
Second half, a Aquilani free-kick on 51 mins met the head of Carlos Puyol and bam, 3-2, after that I was so nervous. And thought, Oh no here goes. Then what happens on 75 mins, I fail to clear a Steven Gerrard corner, not once, not twice but three times and after ping pong in the box C. ?Delago? (Lyon I think) slides in the equaliser. I was gutted, but more concentrated on coming away with a draw!
I managed to hold on to a draw, which I wouldn't of even considered after 35 mins. Even though I was gutted, I thoughorly enjoyed it, which is wierd.

Real Madrid
I use Real Madrid which is my favorite team forever with real players and top difficulty setting. This is the first season for me because I was waiting for my OF to be working. Still I didn’t get it to work and are waiting for the new version to come from Daymos. I think I will restart everything after I get my OF working. Anyway, I just got knocked out of last 8 by AC Milan last night in the Champions League. I have already been eliminated by Valencia in the early stage of Copa del Rey. Both results are very disappointed! I was way too confident in the Copa del Rey that I rested some of my big guns. I was stunned by Valencia’s attack in away game and lost by 0:2. It was unlucky that I was going to face Barca after this game. I had to use all my best players in the El Clásico. The result was 1:1 in Camp Norm. I tried to make a big come back in the second round of Copa del Rey but it only ended up a 1:0 win. Champion’s League action is more realisic than I thought. I lost 0:1 in San Siro thanks to Ronadinho’s freaking tricky shot. He back heeled home from in a very close range from a Casillas save. Again, I have to gamble everything in the second round. Pato put my hope on the edge by scoring a one on one with keeper. I tried my best and two goals in the second half, but it’s just too late and not enough for me to qualify. I think I am in mid of April now and I am leading the La Liga. Barca is 6 points behind me. I will work my way to compete the last title I can earn this season.
I got rid of Guti in January because I thought he was too old and slow for my tactics. He didn’t get many playing time so I sold him for 5.5million. I also sold Dudek for about 3.5 million. Because of lack of keeper, San Casillas sometimes complain he played too much and felt tired. I am now out looking for a decent reserve keeper. Van Nistelrooy was sold because it’s part of my plan. He was about to retire very soon and many teams still want him. I still feel regret that I sold Van der Vaart because he could be very useful right now.
As far as buying, I got Narvas from Sevilla to enforce my wing. He’s young with good pace. I already trained him the “Super sub” skill. He’s the one I will count on when CR or Kaka need a rest. I signed back Negredo to replace Van Ni’s role. He’s such a balanced striker, especially in the air, which gives me another dimension of the game. I also signed a youngster(forgot the name) from Spain who plays DMF. He’s only 18 and the rate is 79.
Pepe was out for 7 month due to injury!!! Metzelder is out for 4 month! I have to use Ramos a lot in the center back lately.
I am planning to sell either Gago or M. Diarra in summer. Fabregas is my next big target!
Right, Raul, The REAL leader is still in the team. He is a reserve and plays 20 to 25 minutes each game. He got 7 goals already. I don’t plan to sell him.
I began playing Winning Eleven 3 when I was in China 10 years ago. Now I am in the U.S. and still playing PES2010. What a great exprience.
I really hope this game can get better and better next year.
