How Much Better Would PES 2009 Be If...

mufcsean

is LOST
the game would be better if there was Penalty mode.

I was drawing against a mate and it was the last minute of injury time. We never play Extra time and just go straight to penalties. I wanted to go on a replay as my mate fouled me and it didn't give a free kick but instead of clicking Replay i missed completely and ended up quitting the match completely. So i said "We'll just have to do a penalty shoot out". After a long hard look, there was no option to choose a penalty match and i was disgusted.

When did they get rid of it

what is one-dimensional?

In my opinion?? PES09 is one-dimensional, every FIFA before FIFA09 was one-dimensional.

One-dimensional is when something doesn't offers any "replay value", something that PES09 lacks.

If you don't find PES09 one-dimensional, then good for you. I don't see it that way.. I think that PES09 is an easy, straightforward, one-dimensional Football "Sim". In which the Com haves too much control, leaving us with little to do other than Passing or Kicking the ball.

FACT is that this is the 1st time that sales have dropped significantly for the PES franchise.. Surely, if PES09 was as good as You claim, that wouldn't be the case.

pes 2009 would be better if.....

-champions league mode was a part of master league

i jus dont see the point in having it as a stand alone mode, coz i mean c'mon now if we really wanted a separate mode all we have to do is go to cup mode create a tournament with european teams and call it champions league job done! thanx konami for giving us something we technically already had in the first place freakin lazy bastards

The sales only dropped because of how shit people thought 2008 was....

Poor prequel = less people want to buy the sequel

PES 2009 would be better if:
the players cant go through each other or through the posts, corner falgs... the number of goals i as a result of my players ability to go through items is big. in real life your player would get a bit hert if theres a shoe stuck in his head...

I think it's more like fans were disappointed by PES08, they waited to see if PES09 would take the series back on track, they played the demo or the full version -and- decided not to buy the game.

FIFA09 had a poor prequel, and now EA is selling more FIFA copies than ever before.

On the other hand, PES09 does not offers The Gameplay we came to expect from the PES series, and the crappy Online isn't helping either. I don't think PES08 haves much to do with the drop in sales.

It's a good point; how can poor sales be an indication of how poor a game is? Surely that just means less people have had a chance to decide.

basically pes 09 is just the same as pes 08 all thats changed is you can no longer sprint past defenders with as much ease and they have added a champions league mode thats it

just think about pes 2008 imagine if in that game you couldnt sprint past defenders so easily and then compare this to pes 09. its quite shocking when you really think about it like this.

Why get rid of manual cursor ? unassisted is ridiculous and semi-assisted is even worse, the computer is making my online game look laughable, i just want amazing gameplay konami so i can kick my brother's arse with a 50/50 posession game, well i'll say it again PES 2010 is do or die for konami either give us what we want
or just lose more fans.

I play on the PC and im well aware of FIFA thinks of the PC set up in terms of football games at least

Pes 2009 is still playable for me though. I still play away with it but the only thing i miss big time is the Pes Shop

next pes better have the return of the shop, buying players, then being able to call them up to your International Squad

oh, and it goes without saying. Champions league Mode put into the Master League :)
