how the hell do people like fifa 15?

i finally played the full version this week and i have to say it gives me a greater appreciation for pes15, it is awful with the players movement and weightlessness, it plays more like an ice hokey game than a football one for me, easports must have a great marketing team to sell this heap of junk so well

but a lot of it comes down to marketing and certain youtubers promoting the junk to their sad little devoted fanbase (no lifers), i'm not fanboy of pes or any gaming franchise for that matter but i can't believe people buy such a mediocre football game in fifa 15, it's disappointing to realize how familiar the gameplay feels to fifa 13 on ps3(the last fifa title i brought)

PES used to have the better gameplay over FIFA, so licences and marketing didn't really come into it, but the gameplay on FIFA is much, much better nowadays.

Give it a few years and I wouldn't be surprised to see Konami pull the plug on the PES franchise.

Also, rather sad how the PES community goes out of its way to hate on FIFA, claim it's the inferior game. Truth is, it isn't.

This year PES is better than Fifa IMO, gameplay wise, though it's not without its problems.... a LOT of problems.

When I joined, yes. Haven't enjoyed a PES game since PES 5.

Not because of that, but in addition to. PES is horrible, and is trying to become what we once ripped FIFA for being (all graphics with gameplay never the priority).

I bought FIFA15, couldn't take it anymore, so I bought PES2015 which I thought i wouldn't have to do, or would never do again. PES so much better than FIFA this year, and yet PES has its many problems.

As far as I'm aware, most people who buy FIFA do so mainly for the online, which is far superior to PES' capabilities. Whether it's clubs, ultimate team or whatever. Against the AI, the game is absolute garbage.

Fifa online is full of cunts though. Not saying PES online isn't, but more people play Fifa, so more cunts.

PES has a lower cunts-per-player ratio purely because kids can't play PES (too hard, no tricks, and similar stuff) and kids are cunts when online. Also FIFA has the ability to make good football players get destroyed by fucking amateurs who only bash the buttons (I've seen it), whereas PES is a bit more tricky to play if you don't know what you're doing.

All in all Haribo's summary said it, FIFA's online is better as in connections and stability, but its users are terrible.

I only play career mode on Fifa. However, I control the manager side and my brother controls all the other teams I play against, with our own custom sliders of course. Online, I just don't like as it's all about who can rape the 1-2's and RB/R1 finishes. Utter bollocks.

I even prefer playing against the CPU rather that being online, again, custom sliders enabling a better gameplay experience.

Still, nothing compares back to the early PES days.
