I understood you the first time, all I was saying is that you can use the right stick additionally, when able to to create even more mayhem. I also think you're doing something wrong if you're not able to play tiki taka in the final third, because I have no problems what so ever about it.
If you WON*T use it, that's your prerogative, but you're limiting your options.
If you aren't ABLE to, you're stressing and need practice as it will evolve your options.
It's as simple as that, I have no doubt that you're a great player. Many of the most difficult opponents I know play very simple to be fair, so "advanced" or not is not equal to "good". I'm not trying to be a "leetist" or anything, I am just saying that I don't have the same problems, and since our games are identical it must be the playstyle that makes the difference.
There is already such a thread for 2013, and most of the stuff from the 2012 thread is still quite relevant.

klashmans tactics are great and his tactical insight in PES is outstanding, but I always try to stay within the limits of the konami bases (Possession, Quick Counter etc..) as I mentioned because AI managers revert back to those bases in competition modes, but they will use the slider settings you set if you keep the base.
I am also a little less "extreme" when laying out the team, rarely setting defenders further forward than the second Barcelona example I posted.
I suggest you experiment a little, get to know the system and play a few exhibition matches to notice the differences. It takes an hour or two, but once you've done that you have a pretty good grip on the situation and can make good calls on your own.

Thanks for the response sabbastio, a I wasn't asking for all the different teams just perhaps some generic styles, eg stoke city who play a fair bit of long ball and pressure, and Fulham who play compact Possesion game.
I think somebody did this a couple of years ago and it was great
