That fifa video is a joke, i can honestly say after nearly 100 games and winning the league on world class, i highly doubt this guy is using manual or semi auto shooting, by looking at the bend on some of those shots, it seems like Assisted shooting has been used, which means the ball tends to fly on target. Plus the defense is so dodgy in those goals, wonder what mode it was on.

I promise you, you could never score a collection like that on world class with Semi auto shooting so dont worry about the goals u will score.

To be honest, I have scored far better than this guy, im talking about slick passing goals on world class.

FIFA shooting kills PES 2009 stone cold dead, there are many more way to finish and place shots than in pes 2009, try it on semi, and see if you can score those kind of goals.

This is the problem with fifa, alot of PES Fans are crossing over without learning how to play it properly, if you set everything to assisted on fifa then score goals like that, your missing the point.

Anyways, im not here to convert you, im just telling you those goals are totally mis representative of the game.

My Advice if you want to make a real comparison between pes 2009 and fifa 09.

Buy both games/Rent both games.
Play them properly, spend a certain amount of time on pro, then try fifa for a few weeks or so.
Then make a decision.

Ps. If you set everything to assisted on fifa, it misses the point of the game, to get into the game properly you would have to sort out button config and which settings you will have on manual/semi auto. It takes time, because fifa is not pick up and play at all.

But this what you showing is FIFA, and it really looks akward.. People, it is not about it is manual or not.. It looks and it feels weak and that is my point.. I have played both games and what i am saying is fact.. Of course that first think i have done, was put everything on manual, but the FIFA is just like that.. It is really week point of FIFA and really dont understand, how can someone call it advantage? I feel that i am not talking here to some objective people, but kids, which is hasseling PS3 or Xbox is better, viz Adolf Hitler in KILLZONE2..

I was thinking about it too that i am not that good in FIFA if i haven´t seen any nice shot.. But it is not only my issue, but all of the people which plays FIFA.. Just check youtube.. The goals and shooting system in FIFA 09 is not matching even ISS pro evo.. When the player kicks the ball, it's always looking strange.. When he kicking the ball gets completely different reaction, slow motion, and then super fast 100 mph shot. Also it isn´t about that i can not score in fifa, though i had difficulty on the start, but the way goals are in general.. Just check you tube and you will understand, what i am trying to say.. There is milion different goals in PES and they always look correct and satisfaing.. In fifa you must look truth milion replays and try to find one, which doesn´t look strange..

Good replays are all about slow mo and camara angles etc, scoring the goals is about SKILL.. I think you need more skill to score a spectacular goal in fifa than in pes.

3)You knob jockey, iv'e been playing International Superstar soccer since N64 and i used to get copies of PES before the game was even sold in the major retailers, so dont talk to me about PES.

4) You obviously dont have a clue about player animations, the guy in charge of creating PES said he would take fifa's player animations so what the fuck are you talking about pes having better animations.

5)PES 2009 has far more bugs than fifa, keepers diving into the ground and disappearing, lag, substitution errors the lot. I'll post them for you if you like,

My players aren't even that bad shooters, at least above average. Is it really so that when the COM has a good goalie, it means my players become bad shooters? I mean, the GK didn't even play well. Any GK can take balls that come straight towards them.

Hard Shooting Which Makes It Rewarding When You Score A Goal

Kind of... besides the fact that mostly the challenge is your players being imbeciles who can only shoot in the center of the goal.

Honestly, has anyone played Mount&Blade? It's nowhere near a football game, but its gameplay is the best I've ever experienced; it's not unfair. What's most remarkable is that the game is developed by a very small indie team. I wonder what the PES developer idiots are paid for. Is fifa worth it this year?

There is a reason why die hard PES fans who played the game from Day one on PSX and who havent played fifa seriously for about 10 years or more, suddenly changed sides when fifa 09 came out. I know for a fact i am not the only one, which is why PES 2009 sales are shite.

I would give it a go, give it lots of time though and see what you think. Imo its the game PES 2008 should have been.

Trust me, in a few years time more people will catch on to fact that FIFA isnt FIFA anymore, FIFA is pro evo, and PES 2008/9 is the real fifa.

Now, i never set that animation in fifa is shit.. What i set was just sort of joke, when i found that vid on youtube.. Even the other person laugh and understand what i ment.. Ok that was hard to read. Imo Fifa is definetly the new pes and maybe even as good as earlier pes's. So far ive had some absolute cracking games with mates where there have been expansive counter attacks, last ditch defending, open goals missed, cross bars smashed, last minute winners, two footed tackles, intense penalty shootouts and more. In Fifa 09 when im playing m8s in my online league i get most of those things nearly every game and each game is really eventful and keeps me interested.

On the flip side, Pes is as dull as dish water but then again i do miss the ML
