Arguing about a Video Game is pretty damn sad guys. If you dont like FIFA then fair do's no need to come in here and have a go at the people who do like FIFA. Each to their own. I love PES 2009 because as usual its a challenge due to the Stat Levelling that takes place on Top Player difficulty..... What I mean by that is the slowest Left Back in the World can keep up with Cristiano Ronaldo and it makes you Work to win the match.

FIFA 09 is a great game but just too easy.

So you can batter Fifa on "legendary" then? Respect if you can because in my eyes it's much tougher than Pro Evo.

PES09 I can settle with, I enjoy everything about it.

So now, if you want to carry on crying about a game. Be my guess and bicker away as much as you like. Can't really be bothered to bring myself down to your levels. Have fun.

Ok after now playing good/long enough on 'become a legend'(only thing worth playing online..!!) i now fully understand the direction the games going..i am no longer angry with Konami for all its flaws/faults as there is no way they could of got it fixed in a year..(well, some of it..)

I still think it should be better and they should have tried harder..

and just for you gaffa as you love talking about fifa..they to are going the same way..!!

when you play a great long through ball on 'become a legend' its a taste of things to come...and as i posted before roll on 2011/2012

But the thing is bro, you do more talking up of FIFA then you do talking bad about PES. It's like your on some personal crusade to convince everyone FIFA is a good game. I think PES 2009 is great (only played the demo at this point thanks to a delay, but I was well satisfied with it) but you don't see me or any of the other posters begging you to love it.

FIFA just doesn't appeal to a lot of people on here. Hence, why they are posting on a PES forum. It's not that the game is bad (no one is slating it) it just doesn't appeal to everyone the way it appeals to you. Can't you just accept that?

I would like to restate my assertion that EA are paying you by the post. It's the most likely explanation for your crusade.

i hope to god this game is given a make over with the patch, its shocking, [played a game with my friend last nite in c l exhibition mode, 3 subs were made without being requested (has this happened to any1 else?) a g kick was awarded despite clearly having been a corner, and in the space of 2 games, 3 red cards awarded, sort it out konami, it wasnt broke before (the refereeing) why now, quite frankly im very worried if fifa is the future), it doesnt have the same fun pes once had and in fairness still does have! im not knocking fifa, its a great game but its not how i wanted next gen football to be. online wont even work for me anymore, this is 2008, you wudve thought by now konami would make a massive effort focusing on online.

Why, oh why does the cpu take decisions on ur behalf, be it kicking it out for a corner or tackling from behind resulting in a red card, surely the essence of any game is being able to have complete control!

im gonna give the master league a fair go, but i hate being cynical about pes, but things have to change otherwise konami will lose its european market and even the people who have been most faithful will turn their bk.

maybe its our fault as loyal pes fans to a certain extent that the game has been so good over the years that errors, glitches and downgrades on the quality of gameplay are so noticeable.

i hope fifa outsells pes this years by loads, only that way will it get through to konami that people expect far better

i wonder how long im gna persevere with the game i once loved (and it is perseverance) because i have both, before i turn to fifa.

there are so many things great about the game that its even more frustrating the small things cant be ironed out

the faces in this years game look amazing, you can put your own tunes in (finally!), add chants, the graphics close up look very realistic but no one plays close up, thats the problem, bcoz u cant play pes that close up!! the stadiums look fantastic, although i do seem to think more effort was put into wembley than any others!! sort out the bugs, refereeing, gkeeping to an extent, online and konami have a winner, without all those things its fun, but no longer a real representation of football, if u want that play fifa!!!

i hope this is the year konami listen to the media and fans, we want an EVOLUTION, after all the it's in the game's title!!!

Something is wrong with the defences. Goals are scored too easily.And i feel that i can't control my player in defence.And when there is a corner kick the defence reacts really nervously and the goalie can't even make a save.

That is yust what i have noticed ...i cant control the defence...it takes to long to change the cursor...and when you facing ETO or IBRA you know what is next...!!!:realmad:

I love this game !!!

i know alot of people are really dissapointed with pes 2009,

but i have to say im well pleased with the game it beats fifa hands down and plus the edit mode is wicked again i used to make my own option file's on ps2 and since the ps3 came out it's taken gaming to the next level...

i've edited my own pes this year and im happy with how it look's untill a decent option file comes out...by the way there is some good one's out at the moment...

the feel of the game is much better then last year and the look of the game is so much better aswell..

alot of people moaned last year no editing no boots no great ball's online lag keeper's are crap ... well out of all them this year seem's to me to have just the online problems...

editing is ten times better keepers are so much better love the ball's and boot's..

so if i had to rate pro id give it a 9 out of ten this year

There is a couple things i would like some feedback on...

first (brief): a new controller that has a third/moved toggle directly under the left toggle that is used in tandom to control what foot you use to kick, dribble and recieve the ball(controller would be reshaped) it could even have a litte socket shaped as a football boot for your finger...

second: PEFS (lol, no gaffa the f does not mean fifa.!!!!) Futsol soccer...

you will need to play/played football to grasp what i mean with the controller...

oh and feedback from people with an imagination and open mind please....

There is a couple things i would like some feedback on...

i like the controller idea my good man so we can have some sort of total control over our players feet idea?

id like to see a proper weather engine like players getting muddy, socks rolling down etc.

i do like the champions league mode too i hear the update will add more teams too it?? should be good

i truly hope the update sorts some of the defending bugs out online beacause i thought it was just me but everyone seems to be having the same trouble
hopefully its just a simple glitch in the code and can be sorted out

i always say its better than fifa offline, please read and get your facts right i have said it many a time now, as this is a topic about not liking pes, of course i'm gonna bring fifa up, its online is what i want pes's online to be like.
