My suggestion is: Real Referees

Ok! Not the most important thing to improve in PES but it could be a good adittion. I guess!

1. Real Referees like: Mejuto Gonzalez; Oscar Julián Ruiz Acosta, Roberto Rosetti, Herbert Fandel, Massimo Busacca, Jorge L Larriondo, Benito Armando Archundia Tellez, etc. With different levels of Stricness.

2. Why not some unlockable Legend Referees. like: Pierluigi Collina, Markus Merk, Peter Mikkelsen, Kim Milton Nielsen, Anders Frisk, Lubos Michel, Urs Meier, Marcelo Elizondo, Romualdo Arppi Filho, David Roland Elleray, Hugh Dallas amongst others.

3. Bring back the option of choosing the Referee like in ISS. For Exibition and Online Matchs.

4. And better overall performances for the Refs. obviously. They rarely give the advantage play in PES 2009 (Play On ref). And some Handballs please. Not as much as in PES 5, 6 or 2008 but a few. Never seen hadballs in PES 2009 and i made a lot of handballs.

5. Better animations for the Refs. and maybe some interference of the Ref. Maybe he could fell off when bumping a player. Aswell sideline refs (being bumped and tackled). Maybe he could intercept a pass or a shot involuntarly (sometimes). Or even get injured and be substituted by 4th Ref. Who knows! Editable style and personality like the players (calm animations, nervous, smiles a lot...etc).

Master league with scouts and real young players coming in rather than retired players coming back...

more realistic chants...

Turkish super league...

players stats to be more accurate, not just high for big teams because there are some very good players that stats seem to be very low just because they are not one of the big teams...

number of teams in the master league, we always have a problem with the premier League because you have to choose some non-english teams for the second division and when they get promoted to the England League it loses all the realism.. maybe add a few championship teams in to compensate for this matter....

My suggestion is: More Unlockable Teams

How about some "fresh blood" instead of every single year since ISS unlocking the same Teams over and over again!

1. Classic All Stars:

- Classic World All Stars (imagine a Dream Team with: Lev Yashin; Walter Zenga; Carlos Alberto Torres; Franz Beckenbauer; Bobby Moore; Nilton Santos; Johan Cruijff; Di Stefano; Platini; Garrincha; Maradona; Pele; etc)
- Classic European All Stars (imagine a Dream Team with: Gordon Banks; Peter Schmeichel; Oliver Kahn; Maldini; Bobby Charlton; Eusebio; Puskas; Van Basten, etc)
- Classic Asian All Stars (imagine a Dream Team with: Chow Chee Keong; Kim Ho Kon; Masami Ihara; Soh Chi Aum; Chen Chi Doi; Karim Bagheri; Kim Joo Sang; Hidetoshi Nakata; Majeed Abdullah; Khodadad Azizi; Ali Daei; Cha Bum Kun; etc)
- Classic African All Stars (imagine a Dream Team with: Joseph-Antoine Bell; Sadok Sassi; Badou Ezzaki; Noureddine Naybet; Hany Ramzy; Samuel Osei Kuffour; Mahmoud El Khatib; Hossam Hassan; Abedi Pele; George Weah; Rabah Madjer; etc)
- Classic American All Stars (imagine a Dream Team with: Amadeo Carrizo; Chilavert; Ladislao Mazurkiewicz; Marcelo Balboa; Gilberto Yearwood; Bruce Wilson; Teofilo Cubillas; Enzo Francescoli; Gustavo Pena; Jorge Magico Gonzalez; Alberto garcia Aspe; Tab Ramos; Dely Valdes; Hugo Sanchez; Hernan Medford; Ivan Zamorano; etc)

2. Classic Clubs:
(Made of a mix of their best players of all time and players of Trophy winner squads)

- Classic Real Madrid; - Classic Nottingham Forest; - Classic America; - Classic Cruzeiro;
- Classic Milan; - Classic Marseille; - Classic Al-Ahly; - Classic Gremio;
- Classic Liverpool; - Classic Steaua Bucaresti; - Classic Raja Casablanca; - Classic River Plate;
- Classic Bayern Munich; - Classic Hamburg; - Classic Enyimba; - Classic Santos;
- Classic Ajax; - Classic Celtic; - Classic Independiente; - Classic Palmeiras;
- Classic Barcelona; - Classic Borussia Dortmund; - Classic Boca Juniores; - Classic Atletico nacional;
- Classic Manchester United; - Classic Red Star Belgrade; - Classic Penarol; - Classic Colo Colo;
- Classic Juventus; - Classic PSV Eindhoven; - Classic Estudiantes; - Classic Olympiacos;
- Classic SL Benfica; - Classic Aston Villa; - Classic Olimpia;
- Classic Internazionale; - Classic Feyenoord; - Classic Sao Paulo;
- Classic FC Porto; - Amongst others...

3. Bring back Good Old All Star Teams:

- World All Stars;
- European All Stars;
- Asian All Stars;
- African All Stars;
- American All Stars.

Fully editable so we can select the eligible players and change anytime.

4. Classic Teams and and perhaps new ones:

- Classic Brazil; - Classic Checoslovakia;
- Classic Argentina; - Classic Hungary;
- Classic England; - Classic Sweden;
- Classic France; - Classic Juguslavia;
- Classic Netherlands; - Classic USSR;
- Classic Germany; - Classic Portugal;
- Classic Uruguay; - Classic Denmark;

5. More Unlockable Classic Players and Unlockable Real Players. Konami should separate Unlockable Classic Players and Unlockable Real Players. And give everyone the Option to use them (both or not) in Master League if we choose too.

Once again not the most Important thing to improve in PES. But a good addition i think.
We just want more Goals to Achieve, more Unlockables.
This wont give Konami hard work like other suggestions. It's just Database. So vote YES Please guys!
Those that aren't bothered could ignore it, and people who want Classic Teams (Classic Players) could just enjoy them.

Hello

I've been playing since PES 5 on ps2. i've played pes08, pes09 as well on ps3. I love PES over fifa due to its realistic feel on the gameplay side.

Based on the PES2010 demo, my suggestions are:

1. Penalty kicks camera: In the options menu to be able to select the classic camera (the camera filming from the back of the penalty taker). the new camera style is very frustrating to use...Also goalkeeper should be able to move along the line to distract penalty taker...

2. Game speed: Option to choose between realistic (default speed) and fast (a faster speed game mode). or may be 3 speed modes. Higher speed games makes it even more action packed and fun. Also, the players don't seem to cover enough ground when running...

3. Passing: needs to be better, that is: a player traps and passes the ball quicker when there is opponent pressure on him but loses some accuracy (unless perhaps if he is a world class player). At the moment it seems a player will always take the same amount of time to trap the ball and make a pass, hence opponent can always catch him out, which is definitely not realistic. Also every player seems to pass the ball the same style, which cannot be correct.

4. Ability to bring goalkeeper up for late corners! This was very useful and fun in pes08/09!

5. There needs to be more movement (runs/feints/jostling) during free kicks and corners. Also may be an animated goalkeeper with hand gestures asking team mates position the wall or mark players.

6. Body collisions can be improved (see FIFA10 as example) ie off balancing players, tumbling etc..

7. Goalkeeper AI really needs to be improved - ie get up quicker when making a save to try and prevent striker follow ups. Plus we would still like to be able to control goalkeeper for 1 on 1 saves! (i heard this has been implemented in the final version but not in demo)

8. Would love to see the 5 corner player stats comparison back...it just gives an overall picture of the player strenght when doing squad selection.

9. animation improvements :
-players getting off the bench to warm up down the touchline prior to substitutions during gameplay.
-ball hitting ref/linesman/handball plus commentary on potential handball decisions.
-4th official on the touchline showing stoppade time and substitutions. -Manager in the manager's box waving to give players instructions whenever there is change in game tactics or formation.
-players pointing and asking for ball when making runs
-aggressive players showing frustration when not passed the ball by a teammate who shoots wide instead

10. To add dualshock support for tackles, nudges/body collisions, ball hitting the post, getting hit by a ball.

11. hopefully online gameplay issues have been sorted.

12. bug - it seems that certain parts of the body can go through each other on collision e.g. when running at goalkeeper and colliding with him, sometimes you can see the attackers legs going through the keepers' head without the attacker stumbling! Or when two players are heading the ball, the heads go through each other.

How about 3 game speeds to choose from? Arcade, Normal & Simulation. Arcade is faster than normal & simluation is slower.

Animations when the players miss a shot on goal!
It's been like 5 years and they still use the same one where the players arms are at his side and he bows!
THe player animation for that cutscene looks ridiculous and I've never ever seen someone react like that in a real game of football

I like the first post. Good one mate. It would indeed be nice to see different levels of strichtness among the referees. In pes6 there were several referees to choose from, and they had different ways of controlling the matches. Remember Johan something allowed many hard tackles and didn't throw around with the cards..

would like to hear ESPN (latinamerica) commentators, or some argentinian, not mexicans please

1. How long have you been playing PES?
first time was on arcade in early 90`s, then ISSproEvo Soccer on PS1, actually PES 2009 on PS2
2. What are the aspects that you like most about PES?
best simulation over any football game ever, it`s realism is way better than FIFA
3. What are the aspects that you don’t like about PES?
Audio, need to improve on sounds. Difficulty need one or two more levels

The nets look brutal wen you're playing with English teams, they look more like the nets Roma used to have. Im not saying get rid of that style altogether all I'm saying is I want multiple net options.

over all the gameplay looks like an improvement, areas that need improving are.

1. player animations, more fluidity, would be nice to see: *more player reactions. *the shirts currently look like though they are made from plastic moulding, these need improving by making them look more attached around the shape of the body, some movement of shirts/shorts would be nice to add to realism. *managers on side lines reacting to the game. *ball boy would be a good addition. *the odd paper or litter flying onto the pitch?

theres plenty more, but these are the ones i'd like to touch on.

Best pro evo ever!! well done konami!!

My suggestions for next season

1) i'd like an expansion of the L2 + R3 trick stick similar to FIFA i can honestly say that is the only thing that that makes me green with envy when i had a look at fifa. that would be brilliant! Kick ups in pro evo anyone??

2) ill have to jump on the slow it down bandwagon aswell.

3) Would it be possible to include the coca cola championship teams to be included with the ML (i know its a long shot) ;-)

4) i'd also love it if it if you could expand on the kit editor (more number and player name fonts)

thanks and keep up the good work ;-)

crowd noise needs an overall change, chants are not the best and the noise starts to become very annoying. like dying zombies. the repetitive chants go on and on during gameplay and start to become very very very annoying. pls sort this out next game too.

I'd be happy with a few more new player slots, a few more badge slots, and a few more team slots.
That's something that doesn't take that much time, effort, manpower and money to accomplish. You just add a few more lines of code (basically copy+paste), some pretty graphs for "Other Teams C" and you're off.

If I decide I would like to have the already available leagues, and then add the Bundesliga, the Portuguese League, the Brazilian or Argentinian leagues.. I should be able to. I mean, I'm the one doing the editing.. It's not like I'm asking Konami to do it for me.. It's not I'm demanding Konami to pay for the rights for those leagues!! Why don't just add the slots and.. we'll take it from there? :)

seriously.. why not more slots? is there a reason? and why can't we edit the logos for the leagues, cups, and so on, on the PS3? if they aren't editable because they know exacly what we'd do, and they don't have the rights to those competitons, why don't they keep us from editing the badges on the non-official teams? isn't it the same thing?

this year we get to edit teams that are in the Other Teams A section. what I would like to be able to do is this: imagine you want to edit over one of the editable teams, and create a belgium team. If you do so, it's not going to be created beside the belgium squads already in the game (Brugges, Standard, Anderlech..).. and I think it would look better if it did.
what I would like to ask Konami to do is.. when creating a new team, there should be an option to designate that team as a team from a certain country. much the same as you choose a nationality on a created player. that way, if you chose "Belgium" as the that team's home country, the team would be set right beside the other belgium teams, in alphabetical order. the game would gather teams from the same country (Belgium would come before, say, Portugal), and in that sub-group of belgium teams, Charleroi would come before Brugges. this way, you could created teams from wherever, and in the end, they would all be perfectly organized on the menu.

the way it is today, if you wanted to create a belgium team, it's going to have to be created in some random slot, beside the russian teams or whatever. and I think Konami should allow us to organize things a little better.

yeah, I'm kind of weird this way :) i like thiings to be tidy.

am I explaining myself well? :)

Back and to the left.
Apologies if this has already been mentioned but one thing I've always wanted to see is 'real-time' form arrows. This would basically mean that during a game, if a player makes a few good passes or scores then the form arrow goes up and vice versa. I'm sure this would be a fairly simple addition to the game and would make for more realistic gameplay.

Also make use of the dual shock element of the controller.

id like the comp opposition to foul a lot more in real football there are fouls by both teams but i hardly seem to get fould by the comp so id like this to be improved

i also think in a freekick you should be able to move the wall to the left and right and the goalkeeper shoul be linked to this so it looks like he is telling his players what to do

In the past on the PS2. Teams would react to going a goal down. They would either be resilient or their heads would go down. Can't remember which PES this was though. But your idea is good.

Don't know if this has already been mentioned, probably but

I would like all computer assistance removed from the player I'm in control of. No sliding, kicking or chasing balls (especially thru balls where the man chases the ball and you can't change directions) when I haven't pressed anything.

ok, here goes nothing:

- You should be able to play the Europa League competition (just as you can play one season of the Champions League). I don't get why this is only available in the Master League. One of the things I love doing is playing a game in PES that is about to happen in reality. Imagine, if Barcelona are at home to Inter Milan in the CL, I love choosing Champions League > Friendly > Barça vs Inter @ Cam Nou and trying it out. For the same reason I would love to choose Europa League > Friendly > Benfica vs Everton @ Estádio da Luz for example. And obviously I know you can do that playing a "normal friendly".. but you see, I love the pretty graphics :) being able to play with the Europa League graphics would be awesome.

- You should be able to play historical CL Finals. I know we'd be limited to the finals played by two teams that are currently licensed, but still, it would be awesome.

- You should be able to play "Challenge Mode". You would be given a situation and a goal. Imagine "It's half-time against AC Milan, you'r losing 0-3, and you have to, at least, take the game into overtime" or "You'r winning 1-0 at the Nou Camp at halftime, but you'r 2 men down and you have to win the game" or "it's the last game of the season, your striker needs 4 goals to finish at the top of the goalscoring list, make it happen." this sort of thing.

- Offline games between 2 friends should be able to keep records. Imagine you had a couple of pals that usually play PES at your home, how awesomewould it be if the game allowed you to input who's playing who, and later on you are able to check out the records, who won the most games, who lost the most games, who had the biggest win, who scored the most goals, etc etc.

- Offline games should have this following option. You would choose one player for your team, your friend would then choose another two for his, then you'd choose another 2 for yours, then he.. you get the idea. this way, both of you would end up with an All-Star team, chosen by you. Then you could play against each other. I think it would be fun.
(the reason why the first person only chooses one player and then both choose two is that, this way, it isn't always the same person choosing first).

- When creating a new team, would should be able to group then next to the already existing teams from that country. Benfica, Braga, FC Porto and Sporting Lisbon are already in the game, but imagine I wanted to create CD Nacional (also from Portugal), you should be able to group then next to the other Portuguese teams, and not on some empty team slot somewhere. All you needed for this it to have a "country ID" thingy (much the same as you have a "nationality" thingy when you create a new player) and the game would do the rest.

- You should have a WHOLE LOT MORE slots. player slots, team slots, kit slots, badge slots, and so on.

- You should be able to edit the Competition Logos.

- There should be a few more generic stadiums, british looking ones, modern looking ones, old looking ones, so when playing a league you don't end up playing always in the same grounds.

..so, that's it. for now :)

I'd love to see the Euphoria engine in PES11. :)

Yes! The CPU should never second guess me.
