ML and BAL is near unplayable because of it. Well, BAL can be played without too much grief, but ML is ridiculous as usual. You can smell a goal against a mile away, because suddenly you can't do anything against the ball carrier, even your intentional fouls miss the target, or more often magically slide right through.
An example;
I lost 3-0 away against Juventus in the CL qualification, so in the home game I went gung-ho to give it a shot at least. At half time I was leading 3-0 after a stunning half, but I feared the AI and kept on the pressure and was leading 5-0 at 85 minutes. I was keeping possession, I was tackling like a god and everything was well. Suddenly I was unable to get the ball the last five minutes, and the game ended 5-2. Juventus through on away goals... just pathetic. I tried keeping possession all the time the last 5, but my players hardly moved when I was passing to them, and the Juventus players was 50% faster than mine in all situations. My keeper was retarded as well, but that happens all the time, so that could just be a coincident.
STUPID! I was doing the same thing all along, my players stopped responding, and the opponents got injected amphetamines. Typical konami script behavior from earlier releases.
EDIT: This was the first CL match, the second match into my ML career, the first one was a training match. So if this kind of annoyances sets the standard right from the start, I think the whole game mode is botched to be honest.
