Konami and EA partnership..

This idea ive had for while as been simple really...what if they combine to create the ultimate footy game. imagine? All the leagues and licenses, beautiful stadiums of FIFA with the great game play of PES...silly idea but what do u think.

I really think it should be done.

Do you seriously tnhink this would ever happen anyway? If you do you need to go back and have a good think about things.

Trouble is, if they combined together there would be no real competition. At the moment, there are 2 good football games, so they must improve each year in an attempt to outdo the other. Without that rivalry they can afford to just sit back and relax as they know everyone who likes football would be basically forced into buying their game.

Yes, I agree. Only competition between Konami and EA will make them try hard to improve and improve and at the end we are the winners.

I agree with you Harry. Anyway, PES has enough licencing anyway. Not many people play for the more obscure teams, which are usually the ones with the incorrect names.

Another bad point to the merging would be that EA would wanna use their gameplay in the game so it would cause arguments within the company

I'm pretty sure EZ wouldn't mind using Konami's gameplay. EA seem to be trying to immitate the gameplay of PES, but failing miserably.

how about pes+fifa soccer+football manager

I think the ultimate football game would be the graphic by fifa soccer, gameplay by pes and then all players, football teams from fm, plus using the ai from fm to create the most releastic football game ever...
