Konami: NO online for XBox!

I just read Takatska's words very carefully, but he may not ment it as a hint to make the game using Xbox live. I think they will learn how Microsoft has set it up and create somthing similar themselves. He mentioned the infrastructure, which he would not be interested in if he was planning to let Atari do the on-line part of PES 4.
You know, Japanese are good in copying technologies They will set it up for Konami-games!

This guy has inside info on PES series and confirmed that PES 4 would be on the Xbox way before PES 3 was released and he has just told me that PES 4 is online so i'll stick with his view again on this. he hasnt let me down with all the info he has provided before

I might buy myself a second-hand one but I like my PS2 very much and I am one of these strange peeps that are console loyal! Nothing against X-Box owners but I've always prefered my games/consoles to come from the land of the midnight sun. Don't ask me why.

Thats what i thought Zyg. But it would be silly to make the champion, e.g femi, switch to an xbox platform. unless they included an ps2 adaptor, which im sure if microsoft were sponsoring the tournie, old bill wouldnt be too happy about it.

I have only ever played Tony Hawks Underground online and I found it to be very enjoyable, but a lot of people are saying that the Sony servers are shit. In what way? How are the servers on X-Box better? Why can't Sony (also a huge multinational company) not match Microsofts servers? I am genuinely interested.

Mainly because Sony isn't as rich as Microsoft.Since Microsoft monopolize the software industry they have all the resources to make Live a success.But i heard that sony are to take a page out of Microsoft's book and make their online more streamlined and effective.

thats how Halo works over the internet....im pretty sure u cant play a non-system link game on the internet by tunneling

there must be a reason these are being advertised together... usually amazon wouldnt advertise based on a rumor

That would be cool if we could a program such as XLink Kai to fool the XBOX or PS2 into thinking it was only on a LAN but was actaully on the wider-net.

I think there is one important reason why Konami didn’t supply we8 by online, cause we9, in fact, wouldn’t get more improvements (PS2 resource is exhausted), so online feature will be the reason why ppl should buy it.
