I cant believe you sold your ps3/360. My 360 offers quite alot. Its practically a DVD player, i can download music and games, can watch some vids on inside xbox, check out the spotlight, talk with friends/play and most importantly have somin to do when i get bored ala games. Games like fallout 3, halo 3 and PGR4 are great games and there's alot more out there than just PES. I understand you dont like that many other genres but i thought i'd never like a role playing game but fallout 3 is quality and possibly one of the best games ever.

what I will regret more is when pes2010 comes out and it is no where near the hype going on on forums and then the value of my PS3 would have diminished significantly that I can't sell it with a good price. Plus don't have much to do with the PS3 from now till next november...

If I did have an HDtv I would have used it for blu ray, but don't have that kind of money yet.... and already I've pushed the limits for Konamis next-gen marvels.

well i wouldve recommended you WARHAWK 32 players online no lag, very fun, someone is always dying and something is always exploading but you sold your ps3, PES is not all. :/

I sold my Winning Eleven months ago. Lousy game. The most iritating in it's versions. Anyway, I still hope that WE2010 will be the one that we are waiting for.

Sandaweches, I still remember that you claimed that PES09 is still a great game. Now, you must have accepted the fact, this PES09 is totally nonsense. Do yo believe? All my friends who are just like me, willing to spend our weekend just for Winning Eleven (playing vs offline) , have already gave up on Winning Eleven 2009. Good luck Konami.

well, I must admit that I was completely wrong about the game. In the beginning I was only playing BAL and I guess since it was a different mode it provided some fun. I wasn't paying attention on gameplay elements in the ML mode. Also after some time even BAL showed its weakness like the horrible AI and ice skating gameplay.

When I did try ML I couldn't even finish a season!! In previous WE/PES on PS2 I would play 4-5 seasons with the same team and then restart from default team again (several times - until the newer version is released).

I hated the assisted, semi-assisted control crap, and most of all I hated how I didn't have control over my own players. But worse of all is the loose, sloppy and annoying gameplay. I did try older PS2 versions and they all play much better in terms of passing and ball control. oh and the field is appropriately sized, unlike the ps3 version where they seem like they are running in a huge over-sized field.

After weeks of not touching it and before selling it, I tried PES09 one last time. It only took a minute of the gameplay until I disconnected everything, packed it and got red of it.

It was sad that on a PS3 Konami hasn't been able to improve (or at least reproduce) the gameplay that they are famous for. Forget the sound effects, forget the crappy animations and running, forget the horrible online, once the gameplay didn't deliver then I'm afraid that's that for me. This is bad for Konami, because I'm a fan since 95, and I did buy a PS3 ONLY for PES09 and if I'm feeling this way, I can see why others give up on it or simply switch to FIFA.

The hope is that 2010 is different, but even if it is I won't be running buying a PS3 again.
