I can't copy it to the Max Drive directly because my PC doesn't recognize the E: or F: drive, thats only in the Xbox version.

Try resetting your pc. If it still doesn't recognise the max drive you'll have to try it on another pc. It may be possible to fix this problem on your pc by reinstalling windows but that is quite a hassle.

When I try to copy a option file from my Max Drive to my Xbox, it says the file is damaged. What should I do?

Hey, i'm only new here, so go easy!

I got a Max Drive today and i've just downloaded the devans (or summat, can't remember the exact name, sorry!) off this website. I've tried to copy it onto the Max Drive in my 'F' Drive, but it keeps telling me that the drive is 'right-protected' and won't allow me to copy these.

Am i doing this completely wrong, or is my computer being an akward sod?

Press the little switch on the side of your Max Drive and then it'll be fine to copy onto. After that, it's probably best to backup all of your memory card files onto your PC first and then try transferring the option file to your card. Remember to use the Uncrush option to send it to the memory card.

No. Those faces require you to patch your game which is more complex. A Max Drive only allows you to transfer proper memory card files such as option files and goal replays as well as all files for all PS2 games between your PC and your memory card.

I don't think so.
If any option file is available as a bin/cue then there should also be a max drive version available too. Which file is it?

Hello everyone. This is my first post on the forum and i'm wishing now, that my first post wouldn't be this bad!

Yesterday I recieved my MAX Drive and was soooo happy. I installed the software on to the PC and everything was goin-oh-so-sweet, but then i put the ps2 disc in my ps2, and it wouldn't read it!!!!! :(

Can anyone help me at all? Any information will be gratefully recieved!

I have the same problem, PS2 wont read the max drive ps2 disk. My ps2 works perfectly, plays all Ps2 games and DVDs without any problem....p**sing me off!

**EDIT**

I turned my PS2 upside down and tried it that way....it worked lol. Well after restarting it a few times.

Hey, I've got an xbox s60 and PES5, and am really fed up of bad kits, teams etc...so i was going to buy an Xbox Max-Drive, but then i wondered...would it work for the 360 if it was designed for the xbox? if anyone knows the answer, please let me know asap!

Have downloaded dwevans option file (1.2mb) for XBOX
The file does not appear to be a .zip file which is what the Maxdrive requires to use.
The maxdrive is not locked and software appears to be ok including drivers.
I cannot drag the file onto either maxdrive window (says not a valid xbox save) or onto the drive E:
Am I missing something (apart from a few brain cells)
