no use mate... dont work... i am just doing my editing on the WEOptEditor so idont need to save it.... another thing... how come when i import a picture onto the editor it crashes?? can anyone possibly do this for me as i have tried numerous times and it still dont seem to work

Get the xps to max file convertor from the tools section of File Downloads.

Sorry camara, I don't know what's happening. Doesn't seem like a max drive problem. Maybe something to do with the editor?

its not because in other games i have the same problem like the smackdown games and i h vae to reformat the MC

Explain the problem in more detail.
You're the only one I've read about with this problem so maybe you're doing something wrong somewhere.
Does the smackdown problem still occur if you don't put pes on the mem card at all?

Finally ordered a Max Drive and it arrived today. But being the real computer illiterate person I am. I am confused.

I have followed the various guidelines written by people in this thread and still no luck.

I can always put files onto the USB pen (the option file I want) and they show up in my "F" Drive as being there and as being max files.
Then I go to my PS2 but it always shows that I have no files on my Max Drive. I return to my pc and see whats on the Max Drive and hey presto the files are back.

Please help the stupid. I realise that when I get this thing sussed it will probably be so simple yet at the moment something doesnt seem to be working.

And to the person that said he had no problems after reading the instruction manual well done but to me its not really worth the paper its written on !

Yippee ! Sorted it !

I didnt really - it kind of sorted itself.

First of all I read this thread, and realised I hadnt been unzipping files. Then it still wouldnt work.

But I did manage to save a goal from my memory card and put it onto my pc so I knew something was working as it should.

Then I just ensured that the option file that I was trying to download was saved onto the Max Drive in the same format ie with .max at the end.

Still nothing on my ps2 but as I was attempting to read the manual one last time before giving up the option file suddenly appeared on my tv screen. It took almost 5 minutes to show. So ultimately the problem was that no files were showing because they were taking so long to appear on my ps2.

Cool that it's sorted.
Once you've backed up all your mem card files, it may be worth formatting the mem card before transferring files back onto it. So that there is no trace of any corrupted data that sometimes shows up.

Is there an option in the menu? If not, then just backup and delete every single file from the card. There is a format option with the x-port program.

I dont have an X Port though just a max drive and their doesnt seem to be any optopns with that or on my PS2

Just realised that you can format a memory card with corrupted data on using your max-drive. If you look at your ps2 screen while the max drive disc is in it gives an option to format the card (on the options that scroll at the bottom of the screen). I think it was pressing square.

I do all this with my max drive. but when i turn on pro evo 4 it saya there is no option file. I put the option file onto my memory card so whats the proble?

Make sure you use the Uncrush option to get it to your mem card. Should work then. Delete it and try that.

hi can any 1 help me ive downloaded the xbox optionfile to the max drive menu to the right of the screen but i carnt drag the file to the left so that it goes on to the max drive usb. when i put the usb it makes a noise tellin me it is in but when i got the the control panel it says different and it is not in ????????????????

Where can i get a maxdrive in the united states?

Bestbuy sells something called Action Replay MAX EVO Edition* and it is described something like a max drive.
