But they are different types of dribbling animations, is he doing one of them?

By the way, I like the last part...

If this game doesn't turn out to be an improvement on the last two titles I think I might switch to FIFA :erm:

Please Konami make this a good'un!

^Hopefully. We can always hope. I think it will though.

Im extremely confident that it will be, we first heard about pes 2010 two months earlier than pes 2009, saw images of it 2 months earlier, and i expect to see gameplay 2 months earlier, which is in june time as the first video for 2009 was released 1/08/08

Thank Goodness! No more of that generic bullshit.

FIFA has always been generic when it comes to player movement. I've found that PES for the most part got player likeness down pretty good. Some good examples would be Arjen Robben and his fast, controlled dribbling while flailing his arms in the air like a wild man, Ballack's commanding composure and direct passing, Ronaldinho's trickery just to name a few.

This is great...

Konami must have learned a lot from simply watching Leo Messi dribbling. But Leo Messi is a very distinctive dribbler, similar to George Best.

Konami needs to also do some Mo-Cap on more average players

I'm curious about How many Types of Movements we will have on PES 2010. To date, we only have 4 Types of Movements. I'm hoping Konami comes up with something a bit more deeper.

Perhaps, like 4 Types of Lower-Body Movements and 4 types of Upper-Body Movements. This would give us 16 variations instead of 4.

Or perhaps, it is better to simply have some unique animations based on Special Abilities, to differentiate different type of dribblers. Like Special Abilities for: Sole of the Foot dribbles, Posting Up, Step Over dribbles, Roulette dribbles, etc, etc.

Plus a few more gimmicks like Weak Foot Dribbling Frequency - to determine how much the player touches the ball with his weaker foot when dribbling.

Anyways, I hope Konami improves their game in this respect... I guess we'll find out soon enough.

^I hope you are correct. :)
Anyway, I see that this year, Konami are working harder, so let's hope for a next gen footie game.

I find the last bit hilarious as well. Anyway, i'm hoping PES2010 can be discussed further at E3 as well, but i'm not getting my hopes up.
