Messi or C Ronaldo?

Hi guys,
with my friends we are currently playing a "fantasy league", by this I mean
teams with 24 players choosen by us...
I have in my team Messi and a friend has C Ronaldo, he asked me to trade but I am not sure,
WHo`s better player in Pes2009?
Also I have in mind that 1.3 update would also update stats, and messi lately has scored many many goals and probably will get better stats then...

what do you suggest?

In case that I get C ROnaldo, I think I will need to change my formation, since I dont have replacements for him... C Ronaldo may be able to fit that position?

Messi is great to play with, but isnt a better goalscorer than Ronaldo. Ronaldo is more complete as a player in this game. Arguably.

Messi is better as an AMF/SS, Ronaldo is better as a SMF/WF. Messi's acceleration and agility is unmatched in the game, though, Ronaldo's shooting and scoring is better.

c. ronaldo is definitly a better wing/side player.
c.ronaldo is better. he can do more special tricks while messi can only do the roulette. c. ronaldo has great freekick stats. messi only has speed and agility. although i would take messi because ronaldo is so gay and dramatic.

CR would be the better option based on PES stats as stated by previous posters.

i think ronaldo is better....he have more better scoring ablity than messi...

messi is the best gd dribbling and agility the only downfall is he can't shoot
