Hello guys! Just thought of commenting on the money system of the Master League Online.

I do not know how much money you guys are making on every competition but here follows my situation:

I pay 330.882 EURO for any competition I enter, I do not have a team of superstars, being those only Pato and Maxi Rodriguez. My team follows below and I am in Division 4:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
D. Van Crooy
------------
Ruskin
Valeny
Beria
Kieran Gibbs
-------------
M. Sissoko (not the one from Juventus SO NOT THE MAIN Sissoko)
Reid
Maxi Rodriguez
Marin
--------------
Pato
Babel
----------------------------------------------------------------------
After playing this game religiously I am know getting tierd of the "usual staff"... If I pay 330.882 EURO to enter a competition, I hardly make any money once I reach the end of the competition itself, because I hardly manage to get to the last 16 Round due to people having the likes of Messi, Zarate, Kaka, Robben and everybody else which is a superstar on the same team.

Now I am looking forward to play some more competitions JUST to get Robben but then.... the fee to enter a competitiom will be 444.566 EURO??? How I am suppose to buy other players??? I will be entering competitions to just earn what 50K????????????????

Question: How are you guys doing and what do you guys think Konami should do to fix this???

Please no stupid replies like "we should have 100 million to buy all superstars".... that would be pathetic... what would be the point in playing if all the players you would play against would always have the same players!!!

As for people in Divisions 3, 2 and 1... please advise how much money you make per game and while in a competition.... as well as how much money you earn by getting into the last 16, quarter semi and final?

Anyone also knows how much is the money prize for Champions in D5 and D4????

Well, from a certain point on it's not really worth entering a competition anymore. My team is worth (just) 100 mio now and for months I didnt enter comps anymore because I pay like 1 mio to enter and make - just as you say - only a fraction per match during pre-finals. Have one or two quitting you cause they want to keep their winning streak and you don't even get near to where you started money-wise.

Competitions only make sense to a certain point, after that you better leave it... Sad but true.

But,

how are there people in D4 playing with Messi, robben etc then?
How can they afford that? I've only recently started playing MLO and I find myself having the same issues already.

I only bought fellaini and another low level midfielder (rating 70, 1.3 million). Should I buy 2 more players, I'll simply not make enough money...
And the quick matches don't provide any decent income at all.

I read in the "how are you doing in MLO" thread from a reply to one of my posts that I should try to play better teams. But so far I have only played teams with better players than me.

The people will all the star players will most likely have at least 500 matches played.

As has been mentioned earlier, the tournaments are only worth it until a certain point. My team's value is about 160 million and entering a division 1 tournament is hardly worth the trouble. The entrance fee is like 1.3 million for me, winning the cup returns 3 million. Anything less (2nd place, semi final, quarter final) and I'll just make very little profit over a 2 hour period.

The way I make money is by playing quick matches, and then with a bit of luck playing against high value teams. Sometimes the profit for winning a quick match is half a million for me. The lowest profits are when I beat division 5 teams with default players, then I get about 50,000. (if I lose to such teams then I make a small loss).

I raised a lot of money myself by playing empty tournaments, especially in division 1 and 2 a few months ago. There would be max 4 or 5 other people so a spot in the semi finals was usually guaranteed. There was a period of about 2 weeks where I would make 6-7 million a day.

Anyway, once you get a lot of star players the game becomes a bit boring. I've played maybe 3 or 4 matches in the last 2 months, I have just about everyone I want and the only thing that was going to get me back into MLO was stat updates and Van Nistelrooy being added (since he was called up for The Netherlands several times since the world cup). However, I don't think either of these happened...

As for the people with Messi, Ronaldo, etc in division 4 - just check their stats. How many matches have they played? They might have been in higher divisions before but relegated, so don't pay too much attention to the division a team is in. They might even relegate on purpose to try and win the division 5 and 4 cups as obviously there will be weaker opponents.

Unfortunately the only way to make money is to move up the divisions, once you get a decent team it cost about £1million to enter tournaments and if you get 6 matches in then you are still £400k down so a q/final place is a must to make any money.
the only way to make money when you have a weaker team is to play the quick matches and hope that you get enough points to move up the divisions, meaning that your comps will get you greater rewards.

True, promoting to the higher divisions should be the priority of anyone trying to make money quick. By getting into division 1 or 2, you can set your preferences to look for same level players, which increases your chance of playing teams from division 1 or 2, who usually have lots of super stars and thus bigger cash rewards.

Alright, that seems like a decent strategy indeed and would also explain how to make money from quick matches.

For now I guess I'll have to be patient, build up my team gradually and hope to be lucky enough to play some higher level teams.

Stopped playing pes!

I am so fucking angry with this!
This game sucks and the cheaters that got this game the very first day now have all superstars so they ruined the game for everybody else!!

Konami has not deleted most of the cheaters from the game and there are people out there with 500-600 million teams!!!

This is ridiculous and outrageous... I have only 3 main good players on my team and i am already stuck on making no money from competitions due to the stupid system konami has!!!

This game was made to be played offline with your friends at home and i am definitely throwing this shit away!

As for next year... And for all others years... Konami will have a whole lot of people... Millions of them... Not paying for the crap that supposibly they work on for a fucking year ... Those people will be going to fifa!!!

Suits konami, mr. Murphy and the developpers right!!!

70 euro for nothing!!! If i could i would return this crap, wit of a game tomorrow and get a refund and switch to fifa....

Everybody i know... Like 70% of people... Advised me to get fifa and i was strongly againsted it... Now i deeply regret buying pes 2011... Worst game with the worst system of points, money and divisions ever!!!

Fuck you konami!

I understand the frustration but you're going way overboard. I don't know how long you've played MLO but if you only have 3 main players then you probably haven't given it enough time.

Its not almost half a year since the game came out so there will obviously be a lot of super star teams. The majority are fair players but Konami does need to do something about the cheating, thats clear.

As for wasting 70 euros, thats your problem man. I bought the game online from the beginning and it cost me like 50 euros, I'm positive there were even sites selling it for about 40 euros.

The game itself is not crap and anyone who suggests it is, or that older versions were better, need to take a long look at themselves before they judge everything else.

I'm not at the point where I have to worry about entrance fees for tournaments yet. I make plenty of money when I enter because the fee is low and even if I don't make it through to the knock out the number of games I play means I make decent money.

That being said, if I had this problem what I would do is think of it as a challenge instead of a problem. Try to find players to build a squad which is effective, but also cost-effective so that you can enter tournaments and still make money. Of course, this means you sit on the cash, but I doubt that when I have played enough games that I will simply try to stack my team with Messi, Ronaldo, etc. For me it's always more fun to tinker with the team and try to find bargain players who won't bring my costs through the roof.

Plus, there's no challenge in playing with all the best players. Sure, you can win, but was it because of your skill or just your players? I would rather lose with a decent squad than win just because my team is ten times better. What's the point in that? It's like cheering for Man City ffs!

Why not just admiting you're not good enough?

I do agree. The money you make isnt enough. A match, Quickmatch, takes around 20 min. If you make average profit of 50,000€.

20 x 3 = 1 H. [3 x 50,000€] = 150,000€. So if you are going to buy four good player who coast about 3,000,000€ each.

10 H x 150,000€ x 3 = 30 H. I don't have that much time. So you have to spend 120 H to buy four players who is average.

EXACTLY. The point is not that people or even myself are not good enough! The point is that some people can "afford" to play this game all day long and maybe they can make millions in a day or whatever... others have a job, a gym, friends, a girlfriend and a life... so guess what coolio_jack? I appreciate your sense of humor and my advice to you is to keep having fun with your PES 2011 and NOT EVERYTHING ELSE MENTIONED ABOVE. I'd rather do something more useful for 120 hours (as stated by Svisma) than keep playing PES 2011 like a retard so I can build a SUPERSTAR TEAM. Konami should have not released a game thinking that this IS THE ONLY GAME for PS3 and that others would not eventually get tierd for their own reasons or because the money system is pathetic. THANK GOD THERE ARE BETTER GAMES OUT THERE!!!

you sound like a decent fifa player.. Have fun..

WOW! You really added a superb addition of knowledge to the thread man! Keep up the good work! Not sure if I am to like, dislike or feel pity of comments like yours... but one thing is certain... it reminds me of mentally challenged people.

Fair enough... but for how long would be playing or would you be happy playing with the likes of Piatti, Ormacim, Kholsneri, Weiss and so on?

Sorry, but its true you are just not good enough if you are having problems like this. Svisma's math is poor, who earns just 50.000 per match?

Getting to DIV3 shouldnt be a problem, you dont need superstars for that, and from that point money grows fast. In div2 i earned around half of million average per game, in div1 bit more.

As soon as someone brings the "i have a life " argument to explain his lack of skill, i know with what kind of people im discussing.
