Money matters!

I personally think the balance is excellent, it takes a long time to build up, as it does in real life, to build a team from nothing... Im about 500 games in and am just starting to add some proper quality to my team(Zapata, Juan Mata) and have some true battlers who bleed Charlton(my team obviously) like Inler and Smirchuk...

Im now looking to bring in some quality subs to add some stregth to the squad, (maccarone to support Iaqunita and Rosina who was dropped becaus eof Matas arrival) but I feel the spine to the team has strengthened over the past month...

The mode is testemant to PES' ethos, which is give away nothing lightly... totally in love the mode, I think PES 2011 is a MASSIVE step towards PES ' eventual domination of the genre again, but to fair couldnt care either way just happy to play a game that is properly engrossing again..

The balance is just about right ... There are more problems than the money being earnt as others have pointed out .. The main one being even if you do set the game up to play only people in your bracket you still get Div 5 teams who are running with Messi/Ronaldo/Arshavin/Robben in their teams. There needs to be something done about this and i have posted in the PES 2012 wishlist the answer which is to limit each div to a max rated player so if you do make it to Div 3 but then get relegated you have to change your team to match that div before you can play again.


I play 2-5 hours a night but mix between pes/cod and a few other games yet after 500 games i have lost way more than i have won and still have Dudek/Keane/Nasri/Benayoun/Di Vaio/Ponce/Garva to name a few (and i look at myself as being a very average player).... Most of my income come from playing in Div 5 and being paired against the Div 3 and above as even with a heavy loss i can still be given a 250k+ figure at the end which raises to 500+ for a win.

Probably think I'm gonna be reiterating what other people have already said on here but want to add a few points.

Firstly, if we increase the amount of cash you're given then the game will be no fun after 6 months or so surely? People are complaining now but remember we've still another 6 months of playing left- the game is well designed in that by the time the new version comes out you'll just be hitting having really good teams and you'll want more

Secondly, we seem to be trying to punish people who play more because they 'don't have a life'. I've a full time job, girlfriend, family, play sports etc but I've still played over 1300 matches. Now, while many of those are because I'm up til wee small hours saying 'just one more' I don't think we should punish the people that play the game the most- surely that's the complete antithesis of what we need?! If you play the game more, you put in more effort, you get better at it, you're more likely to buy the next version therefore you should be rewarded with better players etc surely?

Thirdly I think tournaments should have prizes given in percentages- either of entry fees or average squad values. If a Div 5 player with a basic squad can win the cup against Div 1 players with 100mill plus squads then they should get more of a reward. Don't know the exacvt amounts but I look at it as similar to a raffle- the more money goes into the pot, the more should be given as a prize. While 3 mill for winnig a tournament was big money at the start, with player prices going up it's just not worth as much.

Apart from that I love the game, few gameplay quirks need ironed out but hoping 2012 will do that, certainly not worth guys slagging each other off in here about, everyone plays differently and that's half the fun!
