In the ML, you should sign Tavano... I signed him and he turned out amazing... His shooting is immense, a good buy like, maybe need to be patient with him, tho.

Seeing as you've included classic players in your squad, keep an eye out for Ardiles, Schuster, Neeskens, Amoros, Everaldo, Peters (who plays every position except GK).

As for current try Alan Smith, his stats are stupidly-sick when he peaks. :D

All these players suggested are already established and they just keep getting better & better.

I play 3-4-3
With those players there you could quite easily adapt.
move Richardson forward to left midfield, Park out to right midfield, scholes can sit as a DMF and then Cruyff go inside to AMF, dont have him to far forward though, a sort of squashed diamond works best i find, then have maradonna and Rooney playing SS behind Torres, I have that front three, and i find thats where rooney and maradonna are most effective. And its great for playing the ball into your SMF and a through ball in the channels for MAradonna and Rooney as they both develop into really fast players. Also with scholes DMf you got a good passer to spray the ball around and Cruyff AMF a good striker of the ball for when it comes out from the edge of the area, I have Zico there similar concept really.

Babel is an obvious one, slight amount of patience and he turns out fantastic. I got Rivelinho as well, but he tires out too easily. Still, his shot power is so amazing.

They all have great growth curves. Since I have so many young players, and cannot play them all, I try to loan a bunch every now and then. That way, they can play elsewhere and get better.

You should check out these players´ curves. There are some that stay at their peak for 6 years!

Baumjohann is 1 of the best strikers i've had on PES5!Best position for him is probably AMF.

Just bought martins on ML what a steal he showed his potential in the pre-season matches scoring a well-timed volley outside the box. can't wait for him to play in my first season in division 1.

I recommend Adu as well hes only 16! and he will gorw into a great player!
Also Martins

I would recommend Podolski, he's an awsome left side striker

For the SB Lahm is a good choice as he can play on both right and left wings

personally, I dislike the 3-4-3 formation, with only one centerback, your defense is VERY lacking. Also, when you already have a side back and side midfielders, you do NOT need any more wingers, because you have 3 players rushing up on the side, I could not see it work well.

a 3-4-3 formation with 3 center back i can understand more, but personally its not my favorite.

you can easily modify your formation to a 4-3-3 formation, with 2 cmf and 1 amf. it is important you keep at least 2 cb.

trust me c ronaldo and j cole often sit back and then burst once an attack has begun they are always push forward and contribute to goals i have tried many styles of play and this one always works for me

My DMF is David Pizzaro...he is the bizniz when it comes to stemming counter attacks etc. My back up for him is Cocu but he declines horribly. I'd get Marchena aswell.

wtf

wtf???

Cruyff and Maradona?? Why do ppl think there team is mad when they put these guys in it? Sure sure.. why not just put in all the legends then..

Its cheating, its not real u cant just have maradona in ur team and say its a real ml team. U may as well make ur hole team maradona copies.

FOR realistic -

Maradona replaced by Aguero
Cruyff replaced by Ronaldinho or Messi
