Is 16 teams still the most you can choose in a round robin, and is it possible to play each team twice?

Is the ratings at the end of the game accurate?

5 questions.
1. Is Djibrill Cisse stats good or bad.
2. Are the stats editable.
3. is there a type of free kick on pes3 where the player rolls the ball back to u so u can hit it first time?
4. Is ronaldo's body model accurate or is he really thin like on pes2.
5. Is sidney govou on the game? and is he any good.

I can say that Govou is in the game as there is a video avialable somewhere, which shows Lyon vs. Auxerre and he is playing ;)

Sorry. I've already mentioned this so I mis-wrote it this time. There is only a white ball in PES3 with no option in the shop to buy another. The rest is the same.

Is this going to be the case in the finished game? If so it sucks major ass.

Most probably not. It's the general belief that this is not the final version of the game (Japanese text, wrong logo, date of files etc.) so expect to see some form of a more animated ball in the official release.

Would it kill them to use the ball that was in the World Cup? (I don't know the names of ball types). Plain white would be crap, hell, the one in PES2 is bad enough. I wan't to see the ball spin !!!!

1. Quite good.
2. Of course. Almost everything (clubs and player-wise) are editable except details for the licenced clubs.
3. Nope. They're the same.
4. Editable.
5. Dunno. Whatever the other guy said!

The ball probably won't be all white in the final released version.

Some of the Kits look abit shit e.g. Blackburns, Man citys and Fullhams but to be fair the spurs kit does looks ok. Anyway is possible to put text's & shapes onto edited kits, so basicly can you put sponsers on shirts e.g. for Arsenal O2?

Can't tell for sure just yet. WE7 has the adidas logo for kit but PES3 doesn't.

I don't think you'll be able to add sponsors or shapes on kits other than the adidas logo, the player name and number.

Howcome the people who do patches can put sponsers on the shirts?

They prob will matey but theres no point patching a beta and when pes3 is out final release and i can tell ya now it will kick we7's ass although we7 is excellent.
Then you will see the patch's as this year i dont think there will be a we7 final evolution so the patch men might really think about patching pes3 as it will be the best game untill we8 so i really hope they do wrath me sonna :D

PES France claims PES3 will be released for the PS2 on October 31st.

I was checking out this preview of PES3 and came across this line:

Just as Beckham’s free kick style was imitated in Pro Evo 2, we now get Thierry Henry’s gangling run perfectly recreated; run at the opposition and he explodes like the French train that he is.

This, seemingly, isn't in WE7 so can anybody confirm if it is in PES3?
I think its deffo pes3 mate and i can also confirm that most of the stadiums will be official in pes3 compaired to the beta version we now have.
Also heres another interesting fact just been looking in play mag this month a big preview on pes 3 and they mention henrys gangling runs and show some screen shots of the game , but guess what beckhams got a head band in ???????? on the shots so i wonder which beta version they got .
From what i can gather this version dose not have the stutter bug i think that konami came across this problem in a later beta the one we now have.
Anyways im going to come here friday and post to tell ya all that the demo dose not have the stutter and is slightly updated than the beta the ppl are playing now , and just maybe this will prob shut up a few of the idiots up who think the beta is the final version :D :D :D

I'm not loving the way the files are structured in PES3, although it would be apparently simple and straight forward to patch PES3 with a patch made for WE7 it's all the unnessary crap that jack the ripper has left in this version of PES3 (which will definitely be all included in the final release) that is getting in. Plus the image size is made significantly bigger by the 2 video files, which I know can easy be replaced by dummies. Plus you have to wait for a good rip kit unless you have a dvd burner and nice selection of dvd-r's, not sure if dvd-ram works. there's my question, does anyone know that?

does ne1 know when a patched version for pes3 is coming out? i recently got pes3 and i have to say, it is very similar to we7. the only difference for me is that the new adidas gun metal predators are in the game. its a shame the white and red predators arent in though.

and, of course, the language and commentary have been translated to english.

That can be changed though ;)

Correction......I don't think you can use them. thanks to the file structures. sorry :(

No chance with ppf's but maybe with afp's according to tato.

This may seem a bit of a funny question since this is my 1st post but anyway,

Is it more addictive than PES2?

mikeom1

Registered User
Yes far more addictive then PES2, if you've never got your hands on a WE game then PES3 will be a great experience for you. :)

Question: The handball function, is just as anoying in PES3 as in WE7? I think it's very frustrating to make a good sliding tackle, only to see the ref whistle for handball! And also, what about the advantage rule, is it better or the same as in WE7?
