PES 5 is essentially WE 9.5 if you look at how the games progress and develop. In that sense, if you go and buy every version that comes out, there won't be such a big development between each game. If you buy the version that Konami wants you to buy, you'll see a much bigger difference in how the game is progressing with each new game.

Right, let's get one thing straight. I don't buy every version of the WE games. I do buy every version of the PES games.

The reason why I don't buy every version of the WE games is because sometimes, there can be 3 different versions of the game being sold inside 10 months. :shocking: I'm perfectly happy with one version of WE every 12 months as I am with the one version of PES every 12 months. :happy:

There are slight differences between each PES/WE game (for each corresponding year). Now you can call me fussy but I just believe that those slight tweaks between WE9 and PES5 can greatly increase the enjoyability of the game.

I personally, have never "complained" about anything in both WE9 and PES5. I've merely commented on what I see as good improvements and bad improvements in each game.

I'll have to admit that both games are very similar, both have their flaws. But I'm one of those people that believes that each WE and PES game is unique and that both are enjoyable to play. Both should be appreciated as a separate game in it's own right.

I suppose I'm one of the only people here that thinks this way. :rolleyes:

You can't shoot from quick free kicks in WE10. You're only allowed to pass it short - and that goes for every area of the pitch. ;)

On the subject of red cards, I think Tridek meant would keepers get a red card if their momentum carries them out of the area whilst holding the ball. It remains to be seen I think, but I would certainly hope so. It is the rules of the game.

In WE10, I've never seen a keeper booked for this yet. I believe he would just drop the ball if his momentum took him out of the area. They do definitely give away corners after their momentum takes them over the touchline.

Game sounding good, the momentum thing is a very realistic feature instead of the area have invisble barriers

crowd in pes6

Does anyone know if you can see the crowd in PES 6 during normal gameplay (because there was no one there in PES 5) you cant quite see if they are there in the video

I suspect there will be, they have the crowd back during gameplay in Winning Eleven 10 so they'll surely have them back for the updated PES6. They look as bad as ever really but a flat crowd is definetely better than no crowd.

Atmosphere seems to be improved a bit too, however I still believe there should be a huge bellow from fans if you score providing of course your playing at home.

Next-Gen versions will definately have the crowd nailed at least. Should be more scope for better context-sensative audio too. :D
