Having the CL license will not mean Bayern are in as somebody else has suggested in an earlier post, i mean in 2009 the intro video to the champions league stupidly showed you all the german teams in the CL including Diego scoring a nice goal, just to remind you of the class teams you were gonna be missing.

I would rather have Bremen, although Diego has moved on they still have a few good players and are greatly underrated.

There are 18 blank slots for teams to be created. Simply either patch it if you have PS3 or create them from scratch using the editor. I made the entire bundesliga last season. took me about a week coz alot of the players on the game.

CAN YOU STOP THAT. First of all it's not the license thread and second of all, YES I STILL THINK IT'S FAIR THAT PES IS EQUAL BECAUSE IT HAS THE MAJOR UEFA LICENSES.
Now even if some teams aren't licensed, it really doesn't matter because the uefa licenses are still there and personally, there's always edit mode for the teams but edit mode can't do the uefa license. GET THAT.

As for the Bayern munch. I hope they are in the game because they have a strong team.

If you search Pes2010 in wiki it shows the confirmed teams, Bayern is not there, again. Pes 2009 they wasn't there.

That isn't the final list with the teams. Bayern hasn't been confirmed yet, that doesn't necessarily mean they won't be in the game.

And pes has the serie A (major league) with all teams licensed and some other leagues which are major and not minor ones.

^Good point. Konami don't have as many licenses as EA, but they got licenses only for important teams, unlike FIFA, where they don't have some good teams (they don't even have Adrian Mutu's real name, they use the name Andrei Murgu), but they have unnecessary leagues such as the Austrian one. And I think that a game focused on the international cups is more interesting than one based on the domestic competitions.

I guess that there will be enough Bayern players in PES to create the team without too much effort. If the stats system is similar to this year's PES, the missing players can easily be created as well.. I don't see the issue. The advantage of PES is that you can create these teams / players, if needed..

might be possible in player matches but if they aint in the game then its tough luck online. do konami still have an announcement to make at some stage anyways?

IMO having an entire league licensed is better than having the UEFA license. last it year was such a waste, so what you could play the CL, without a full roster of teams, the idea would be to click the game mode and instantly have the proper groups for you to play with, not possible without the German league. other than that its merely there to look pretty, i couldnt care less if at the end of a competition my captains lifting the CL trophy or the Konami trophy. they missed out big time by omitting it from the ML and unless that changes it will be a waste once again. fact is i would rather have an entire faked bundesliga than a fairly pointless CL. and the chap who said Bayern should be in because they have the CL license obviously hasnt played pes2009.

Well I for one would rather be in situation number 1, than situation number 2.

1. Option File can sort out all the teams, all the kits, all the badges etc, and also have the chapions league, europa league whatever. Also can create Bayern, with the insane edit mode.

2. You have every other pointless league in the world, together with no champions league etc.

Safe to say, PES is option number 1, and FIFA is option number 2.

Making who has the most licenses, not a very good arguement at all.

You know what? I tend to agree that Fifa has more licenses, but jesus christ, you don't have to bring it up for every single post. Just accept other people's opinions and get it over with.
