Hey there guys..
I have some questions, and hopefully I find some answers in here..
1. If I have the american version of the game, can I play someone who have the europian one ??
2. If I get the europian version, would it work on the american ps3 system ??
3. Is there any american version option file for the transfers at lest ??
4. I would really like to play online, but I hate it when I play people with real bad connection, so is there any salution for that ??

Was hoping the update would come today since it's server maintenance day which was when xbox got theirs but seems like none so far according to the website. This whole situation has been so strange. Who in their right mind would ignore Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico when it comes to footy? I think it's fubar now, dunno who would really buy 2010 NA version next year if it turns out to be worth buying that is.

^^^If you only see yellow or red, chances are your connection is bad.

No man, my connection is great, and am always green, but 90% of the peeps I played with are red and 9.9% were yellow. And yes am in US !!

^^ sometimes you can play someone with a red connection but as long as you see yourself green, most of the time is ok the problem is when you see yourself yellow because of the other player, try to avoid that, and avoid the brasilians too they usually lag, but anyway most of the time they play between them only "brasil vs brasil" lol

Your connection that you see doesnt matter, its what you see in others that does. Their colors is compatibility. For what ever reason your just not very compatible with the connections shown.
Try the connection test, let us know what your connection is rated at. It goes frmo like letters ,' A, B, C '.
I am interested in what it rates your connection at.

^^^Thats strange then lol! I was in your similar predicament and i was C's. Got a shitty connection around my way. Gimmie FIOS damnit!
xbox get updates earlier than the ps3
almost in all games it happens
usually xbox gets the update and then ps3 gets it lets say about a week or 2 later
but unfortunately not for pes 09
i asked konami
and they responded with this exactly:
Dear Sir,
Thank you for contacting Konami Tech/Customer Support. We are currently
looking into the matter regarding the 1.20 update. Customer Support does not
has any information regarding this, so we have forwarded it onto the PES
development team. As soon as we hear from our development team we will
contact you.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience and

Most of you prob know about it already, that 1.30 update is coming out at the end of the Feb, most likely for Europe though Hope to meet some of you guys online and play couple games.

woohoo so while everyone is enjoying the 1.30 patch we will FINALLY get 1.20 what a joke maybe ill actually play the game now
you're right, that is not fair to NA users, but maybe Konami is starting to listen to us. Here's their replie on when we get 1.2 update
