Yes, it is really mind boggling why they taken the fevernova footabll out of PES3. Wonder what kind of balls will be available.
I have seen some latest PES3 pictures (PC version). The ball is shaded blue and white. I think it will stand out even if we were to use the Wide Camera function. Can anyone confirm that this ball will be available in the PES3(PS2 version).

Look at my post with pics from the PS2 version. The ball is in there and its the only ball in the game.

Appreciate the help, gaz!

*TV has blue scart on the back*
So what you are saying is that my TV does (not) support 60hz?
RGB Scart is bought in electronic-shops?

A 10 year old Panasonic 21" with antenna and one speaker, bet there aren't many of those around eh?

If your tv has blue scart socket on the back it should support 60hz go through the menu on ya remote (or was it invented before remotes hehe) and look for ntsc setting somewhere in the menu or a auto setting in the picture settings this might do the trick ;)

The dufa then ;) or house brick or whatever you call it in norway :D hehe.
The wireless wonder that lets ya turn the set over without moving :(
:D
Get rgb scart lead for ps2 plug into ps2 and other end into blue scart socket at back of tv.
Switch tv on choose ext channel for scart connection and hey presto you should have 60hz running in colour .
You can get lead from games store or electrical shop while your down there see if there have any flux capacitors for me as im busy building a time machine out of a old washing machine and some old panasonic tv bits at the moment :D

yo gaz, do you definitely need an rgb scart lead? ps2 one wont do?
Yes mate but it can depend on your tv some newer tvs have the 3 phono sockets (the red yellow and white) and ive known games to run at 60hz when these are plugged directly into tv.
But a rgb scart will do the job it depends on your tv mate some tvs can display 100hz ;)

just wanted to share my excitement... i went downtown today to see if pes3 was in any stores here (since the release has been brought forward to october 10th). Now there is one store here in town that has always put the PES games on the shelves the day before the release... and to my great joy i saw that they had done so this time as well!

so now i'm at work, with my brand new copy of PES3 right beside me... can't wait to go home...!

well, I read that I could play we7 on a ps2 with actionreplay v2, I tried it as well with pes3 but It doesn't work, so, action replay doesn't boot it, does anyone have played it with action replay or does anyone know a solution?

To download these patches do you need to go online with your ps2 or is there some kind of device where u can plug your memory card into the pc and then download the patches from the internet?

wrathchild, Please check the posts in the PES3 Questions thread from last night to find out about patches. Ask questions over there, this thread is supposed to be for impressions.

sebbonny, if people don't know the answer to your Action Replay question, asking again won't make a difference. It's possible that some larger files won't boot with an Action Replay. See if you can find out the size restrictions in the instructions or something.

Gaz, I really haven't played any PES3 today. I will try to put something together soon, hopefully. Gotta move house too.
I'm not a fan boy of anything except all PES & WE!

I'll be doing a review (comparision etc.) of PES3 to WE7 about a week after the release of PES3 for my site (in my sig).

It'll be aimed at non-PES lovers so it'll probably look like I'm patronising the lot of you. :p

Don't worry to much about balls , boots ect all can be patched into the game .
If they can have naked tarts handing cups over when ya win i woundn't worry to much about balls mate unless your own start swelling when lara croft hands ya the cup hehe :D
If the game can have naked tarts handling cups to the winners, it will definitely complicate the ball issue further. Hence to avoid further compliction, best that it will not happen and so that everyone can rest at ease. Cheers, mate. Anyway, as the game is not cheap, we would like to see the latest ball being used without going through the hassle of patching. There are some contradicting pics with both PS2 and the PCversions showing different kind of ball being used. It may not matter much to you but to one that is not proficient with patching, it certainly is important.
