A thread dedicated to all the people who encounter difficulties when patching. If you ask in this thread then the expert patchers such as Larsson can help out! This is also to prevent clutter in the threads where indivisual questions are asked.

Not so much a problem but......where can I find the Zero patch? I've looked everywhere. Is it kits and all? Can't wait for a reply!!

I am a TOTAL nembie to patching. ive looked around but i cant find what i need to know . Could somebody plaese tell me EXACTLY what i will need to patch PES3 ?

and is there any risks involved when patching (i.e computer crashing , ruining game )

i have pes3 on retail dvd, i need to rip it to cd, i have tried a couple of times, but the rip kits don't work properly, can someone help?!!

To all you expert patchers. I have inserted a man utd kit into the PES3 PC demo but what has happened is that the legs and arms are missing,the body is completely invisible. Any help much appreciated.

Make a screenshot, since it´s the PC demo there shouldn´t be any problems.

you need to invert the transparency.

I've been using the Zero Mix patch and no it does not have real kits with sponsors and everything. But it has changed the kits with the editor in the game. But everything else is good, it has almost everything in english, new boots, new stadiums.

You can get the program needed to rip the DVD into Cd from the old The Wolf site but it is gone now. Go to the editing section in this site and download it.

And to lfc nut - I think there is a guide to patching in the site's editing section. That will teach you. There isnt any real risk on your computer. So enjoy it but you should wait til a good patch with real kits come out. Unless you want to waste CDs. And remember to burn at the slowest speed!

and about the WE7 reloaded patch, they said in the news that a pes3 patch would be released soon, how would that patch work?

when i playing,the kits are changed,but haven't sponsor,only the goalkeeper kits are fully change.

You have to set the kits to default in edit mode.

An X-Port option file only contains what can be edited using the in-game edit mode and nothing else can be added to it like real kits.

To patch a game, you need to copy an image of the game, WE7 or PES3 onto your PC to give you a .bin and a .cue files.

Download the patch. If it is in .RAR form, it is compressed and you need to use WinRAR to uncompress it so that it goes to its proper form of .ppf.

Apply the patch to the .bin file using ppf-o-matic 3. Then you burn the new patched image of your game onto a CDR. Now you have a patched version of the game.

WE7 patches only work on WE7.
PES3 beta patches only work on PES3 beta.
PES3 retail version patches only work on PES3 retail version.

Check the contents of a patch to see what is on it. If you are experienced enough, you can change the bits in it as you please.

X-Port files and patches are not to be confused as they are very different things. Hope that straightens things out.

I have to add that you need a chipped console to play a patched copy of the game.
