hey guys, i'm having problems with fernando's v1.3 patch
i downloaded it off this site's main page (filefront link) and patched like i'm supposed to by following this forum's guide and checked it with CDMage and thr program said it found no errors, so i proceeded and burned it with CDRWin (1x speed because it's the demostration version) and the game works BUT the problem is that not everything is right. the club names are still in Japansese and so are the player names and i'm pretty sure i downloaded the trnasfers version and there are no transfers. why is this happending? is it because the patch that fernando made didn't translate these pieces or is there something wrong?
i tried ECCRegen to check the .bin file (which i still have saved on my computer) and it scanned and found nothing. well, it didn't say it found nothing, it just scanned and stopped at the end. is that right?
please, please larsson or someone, help. i really want this patch to work

Just a quick question. If I want to burn another copy of my patched PES3 onto a better CDr can I just copy it as usual? Is it just like copying any game? I use CdrWin. Cheers!!

I just thought I'd reply to my own question on burning a copy of my patched PES3 onto another CDr. It worked perfectly! No probs whatsoever.
I fully recommend using good media for your backups as it does make the world of difference. I used a crummy, shitty no-name CDr to make my initial copy and my PS2 had a real hard time reading it (lots of whirring and strange sounds!), but now I have done a copy onto a Memorex Black and the difference is astounding!! These CDr's are relatively cheap (at least here in Stockholm) and are black on the recording side. This is just like an official disc (they are usually dark blue) and my PS2 reads it as easliy as an original game. I really do recommend buying a pack of these beauties!! Nice one Memorex!!

I learned & applied kit,ad,ball etc. importing to data_e.afs but how can i edit player names, club names with my pc?
these information are in the over.afs? How can i edit over.afs?

Dou you use Wemod center 2.5 or AFS Extract 7.1.3 Beta 4 or AFSExplorer_1_20 to edit data.e.afs? Which one must i prefer?

when applying jonboyos 5.12.03 new patch, Cd Mage says when importing over.afs
"Warning
Import file is longer than file in the image.
Import file will be truncated. Continue?"
is that normal?
Because i couldnt run jonboyos patches
wasted lots of cds. black screen after playstation 2 logo.
i import everything correctly to the cd mage, and check it but couldnt manage to get it run properly

You need an X-Port if you want transfer option files to your PS2.
To answer your questions:
1. Kmochidas WE7 Editor (at lomungtung's ftp server), works also with the PC version, but only with the original one
2. AFS Explorer 2.0
3. You have to rip your original DVD again, follow my guide to do this
4. Georginho's is the best I think, also that one on www.showusmiracle.com is ok
5. You can edit it but it's quite complicated I think

not puttin the over.asf file will make default names

Well, the most important thing is the FILEDATA.AFS, in the OVER.AFS you have only different stats and player ratings. You can leave the step with the over.afs out if you cannot rip the game again.
Could anyone please help me out with the depleted Holland squad error after applyin the jonboyo monster patch? Any idea where I did wrong? I used the confusion rip kit with my PES3 dvd and followed all instructions properly. All other teams were fine but Holland got screwed up, with only about 10-15 players left and all with their fake names still. Would really appreciate the help, thanks!
