gunnerox, keep checking this section of the forum and you will see new threads for new patches. Check the details attached to the patches already available to see what can be changed. Things include: kits, goal nets, advertising boards, stadia, grass texture, menu screens, game music, commentary, flags (replaced with badges of national teams) and more like that.
larsson, people are sending me messages asking for help with patching and I can't cope with it all. I think we need new threads with the following:
1. "All patching tools here" with links to show where to get everything including WE Mod 2.1, WinRar, ppfomatic etc.
2. "A Guide on how to patch" along the lines of mike's guide at
http://www.freewebs.com/dt11/patchmain.htm but for WE7 and PES3.
3. How to rip DVD to CD, probably linking to or quoting the relevent posts at issextreme like http://www.issextreme.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=7284
This would make things much easier for newbies as well as more experienced users since these threads can be checked for updated versions of the software and stuff like that. This would then also cut down on new threads with basic questions.

Zyg, I´m also receiving a lot of private messages about patching. Let´s make it that way: You look after a ripping guide and I´ll search for some links and make a patching guide, just give me a few days.

Maybe you need to click on the small arrow on the right to load the small picture, then you can get the low-res from the hi-res texture. Please try everything first before posting.

where i can get the retail version patch for retail version of pes3 that one of u lot were on about? it aint that ultimate update thing by ultimate replay is it?

Some help needed please. I'm trying to use the latest jonboyo patch for PES3 (with real kits).
When you are done with importing all the files using CDMage, you scan them. Fine. No errors. Then how do you finish using CDMage?
1. Exit
2. Save as - overwriting the original .cue
3. Save as - new file.

Don´t know the exact effects, but what I know is that all player informations are in the OVER.AFS. So I think, if you load the game without the memcard and you don´t have imported the new OVER.AFS the line-ups will be default, as they were done by Konami. If you don´t import the new OVER.AFS and load the game with your memcard everything should be ok, like it was without the patch. But when Jonboyo says "I recommend you to apply the new over.afs" then I would do it

, but there is one interesting thing. I made some experiments with this when patching WE6FE: Took a damaged image, scanned with CDMage, repaired and rebuild all corrupted sectors, exit without save, open the image again, scanned again, no errors strange.But if there are no errors there´s no reason to save I think. The same with ECCRegen, you don´t need to save after checking. Maybe I just never noticed that you have to save coz I cannot remember that I ever had a corrupted image, except this old WE6FE
hmmm, have you ripped your image with Jonboyos guide here on our forums or have you ripped it with another guide ? I have my rip since 2 weeks now, I haven´t used Jonboyos guide, but I went through it a few days ago and it´s perfect. Follow it. Have you applied both, the kit patch and the 28.10. allripkit, or only the patch with the original kits ? No matter if 1 or 2 patches, you don´t apply pes3 patches to the image ! You have do extract the data_e.afs and apply patches into it. If you apply these 2 Jonboyo patches you first have to apply the original kit patch, then the 28.10. allripkit, then import the SLES file that comes along with the original kit patch, then one of the OVER.AFS files. Also, let CDMage open after extracting the data_e.afs, let it open all the time till you applied everything and scanned for errors.

Read the Guide to patching thread and it will show you all the tools you need to patch. The PES3 DVD ripping thread has links to the tool for that process too. The jonboyo patch thread has a step-by-step guide on how to use this patch. Take a look and it should make more sense.
