When you guys patch pes3 forPS2 what size is the final image. I'm annoyed cause mine is 704Mb which won't fit on my 700Mb disks. :(

But 721 is bigger than 700. Could you explain how it fits. I know a cd can hold more data than it actually says but thats only by a few megabytes.

The disc overburns and closes the session. I use 700MB Disks and they are A-OKAY!

I am following the excellent step by step guide to patching, i have a problem however when i run the PES 3 batch file I get errors

Error could not open on all the IOP\ files so my ISO image is wrong size.

Any advice?

Its annoying when there is always one small thing wrong with a patch u create.
The problem this time is that some of the collars of the kits are wrong. I noticed the Arsenal, Real Madrid and a few other collars are wrong, cant remember the rest.
Does anyone know a way to fix this?

I have just realised that some of the kits some to be like see through. The irmingham kits are white...ish and see through.
But when u look closer on the replay u can see the realm kits.
Also the collars seem to be wrong.
Does anyone know how to prevent this?

No not the waterloo patch, get waterloos tools, that tool can correct wrong collars. Also the latest WEditor can say Have collar or not.

Be sure to modify 3d model for a third shirt coz if you use waterloo there will be some bugs when changing the collars

How do I correct the collars, do I select no collars or something?
And how do i corect the kits, on the game they are kind of transparent.

If you follow my kit importing guide then they won´t be transparent. You forgot to obtain the small kit from the big one.
If you´re editing PES then you need the sles and the over.afs for the WEditor, if you want additional graphic preview you can load the data_X.afs as well

Thanks for the advice larsson, but when I try and load the sles and the over.afs it does not work. It says " Not a valid Win32 Application"
Any ideas?

Did you also used the sles file try to copy those files in one map so the file.over the sles and data_x in one map you load the map thats it.

Does the flip top work for patches? Reason I ask is because when i load the original WE7I (jap) using swap magic 3.0 the game does not load, but by using the v 2.0 it works perfectly. I tried patching but my PS2 does not read the cd even when I use Swap magic v 2.0? Any inputs appreciated. Thanks.

Try to load it from the whole patch dir that must work otherwise try to load the files from a new made map otherwise youre still doing something wrong
