I've been looking at consolegoals and Teekay but the latter is about as active as the section he moderates and consolegoals may or may not still be doing a job for us.
As for betting mods, I was close to removing both Nifty and Yossi earlier today. I'll do it next time I look through unless there's a change in situation.
The whole reason I looked through is because Cookie would make a good mod if we require him somewhere or he has any requests for responsibility.

They were made mods a couple of days ago. I know you're happy to take on any more responsibility required, I'm just not sure what else we need modded but feel free to bring my attention to anything I'm missing.

I would have thought that the official club threads would be a better place to leave post match discussion. I will leave them open for a few hours after, if people start talking more i'll gladly continue to do it.
I think it is a good thing that people post x amount on team a, as it then brings the thread forward and more people notice it. Booking people however isn't upto me so that would be upto the admins.

I wasn't serious about the booking thing, but i don't think it's particularly constructive to just post how much you've staked. Everyone can see it already, so why post it, unless it is followed or preceded by your thoughts on the match's result?
The threads should be left open, because in the past we've had epicly long ones in that section, specially after big games.
I can't remember the last time many bets were placed on a Barcelona - Real, or a Liverpool - Chelsea, and think it's somehow due to the threads being closed right away.

I'd have to disagree with the last part, how would the bet thread being open longer affect how many bets were made previously, that doesn't make sense.
The reason why i usually close them not long after is because there is hardly no betting going on, most threads nowadays have 1 or 2 bets placed, i have tried including more options for games but they prove to be the same.
I might create a thread later asking what people want from the bookie, Nifty's picture template proved popular for a while back when.

I think it does make sense. People now know that the threads are closed and archived immediatley, which is the reason i think they don't bother betting or posting in them anymore.
There is nothing to gain from point tally, and now that the banter factor is gone, that section is pretty much useless.
