[PC] PES 2009 SMoKE Patch 1.2

Great patch! I'm using it, and plan on using it for a long time.

The only problem I've encountered is in Stamford Bridge. The whole pitch is white in the entrance scene and in some of the cut scenes with the referee or when you miss a shot. I'll try to provide a screen shot next time the problem occurs.

It happens in every stadium.

EDIT2:

It looks like enabling LOD: Enhance Image Quality in the kitserver fixes this problem. I enabled that after I posted those screen shots above and I am yet to see the problem occur again.

Hey Dido,

how come the boots are the default ones but the pictures of them are different ??

the boots in the game are not default ones, located here:
C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2009\kitserver\img\cv06.img


and once again about the stadiums:

for all those who have problems with stadiums, u can rename (or delete) the (cv09.img) folder in kitserver so you will return to the default stadiums, some PCs have problems with new turfs, this will be fixed in the next patch.

hey, i know that this is not compatible with the konami 1.3, but i didnt get any complains about weather it works with 1.2 or not, i don't c why it shouldn't work with it.

i would love if you test it on the 1.2 and tell me

Hi, not quite sure what I'm doing wrong, but can't seem to get this patch to work.
After moving the kitserver forlder to my pes09 directory, I ran the setup exe. and pressed install, this is what it tells me ...

>>> Game EXE:
=======WRONG FILE========
File..\pes2009.exe is an unknown EXE-file.
Therefore, Kitserver will not be attached to it



The settings exe part of it seems to be ok, but clearly I'm missing something here :s

i did... all leagues, players ect are good but with 1.2 there is no crests for teams

maybe the kitserver compatibility issues, i will test the new patch on konamis patches before releasing to know exactly on which konami patches it works, for now the SMoKE patch 1.2 works perfectly on clean pes installation and on konami 1.1 patch.

yes, kitserver doesn't work with konami patch 1.3

few patches have the same... but to make them work with 1.2 their authors added folder cv0f to download, then you just have to put in in kitserver/img and it is playable patch on KONAMI 1.2

online playing reset the option file to default one, so all players can have the same configs

i re-installed pes to try this patch and i have to say that THAT PATCH IS JUST AWSOME.... really good work mate, just remember to make all transfers in next update and it will be the best patch for PES 2009 (even better than GACP )

players to transfer:
Mirallas > LOSC > Saint-Etienne
Pele > Inter > Porto
Banega > Valencia > Athletico Madrid

* hope you will add Roger Guerrero (POL) face cause this from KONAMI is the most fu**ed face in game
** there is also double teams bug - in Ligue 1 we have got all teams from Others, and in Others we have them too... i think it better to delete it from Ligue 1 because there can be later double players problems in ML

thx mate, i am working on it, the pele in inter is deleted now, so far the log is:

PES SMoKE Patch 1.4 (In progress):

- Added 55 new players, one deleted.
- Some forgotten transfers.
- Added more than 150 new faces, (all face slots are used now).
- Updated kits.
- Corrected some national team player names.
- Added new ball (Adidas Europass Eurocopa).
- Fixed cameroon kits.

PES SMoKE Patch 1.3 (not released):

- fixed stadium bug, (caused by some kinds of graphic cards)
- Added team (Real Zaragoza).

and ofcourse, if u have any comments post them

lol it's way more than 3 transfers. it's not that simple. after i downloaded this mod, i transferred about 30 players and i'm still not done yet updating rosters. i've spent the entire last 3 days on wikipedia and fifa09 getting player lists and up-to-date formations and starting XI. transferred 20 players between the EPL and championship leagues, about 10 within the italian leagues. didn't finish italian league yet and other leagues. its a lot of work. (also, just recently, giovanni dos santos on loan from spurs to ipswich). smoke, can you give us an ETA on version 1.4? i'm dying to start a new master league game with this mod but if 1.4 is coming out soon, i'd rather wait

also, when in marking settings, the purple icon next to each non-sweeper player says (AMF) instead of (ZN).
