hey TechGuyatNY, yes there was some forgotten things that i've done, about 10 players, if u found about 20 and still looking, please post them so i would correct them.

Sure, I stopped doing the starting XI for each team because it's too time consuming. I have to keep switching back and forth between PES, FIFA, and wikipedia. Unfortunately spring break just ended for me so I can't work on it as much in university. I'll send you a checklist of the transfers/squad number changes I've made by the end of the week once I finish the Bundesliga and BBVA club transfers. I already finish EPL/Championship and Serie A. If I can, I'll do Ligue, Eredivisie, and other clubs next week and send you what I have.

Yes yes yes, so far i finished 25 transfers, and created 60 new players, im double crossing 3 transfers sites on the web to be 100% up to date.
player numbers are corrected, yet to do is the team squad starting lineup.

Do you think you could set it so whenever you choose a team that has one of their home stadiums it will automatically play there instead of us having to choose it? So, for example: whenever I want to play with Manchester United it will automatically go to Old Trafford.

its an idea, but sorry no can do, have to modify the executable file which will open the door to endless bugs and problems

do you have FIFA 09 with ALS updates? if not, i have it for 360 and i can help you out with starting lineups and formations. i hate playing fifa, but i love the ALS updates. weekly ALS updates will automatically update formations and sometimes starting lineups so it helps a lot for keeping PES up to date. i'll start taking screen captures of the starting XI and default formation for each team in the EPL, liga, ligue, BBVA, serie A, and championship tomorrow and i'll put them in a rar file for you.

there is also bug with logos in ML league selector... Serie A shows Championship logo but in-game its good

well, i say in 10 days, maybe more maybe less, change log so far:

PES SMoKE Patch 1.4:

- Created 89 new players.
- a lot of forgotten transfers.
- Added 150 new faces, (all face slots are used now).
- Updated kits.
- Corrected some national team player names.
- Added new ball (Adidas Europass Eurocopa).
- Fixed cameroon kits.
- Some minor fixes.
- Corrected all teams player number.

PES SMoKE Patch 1.3 (not released):

- fixed stadium bug, (caused by some kinds of graphic cards)
- Added team (Real Zaragoza).

yes the young Savio Nsereko is in west ham now, patch will be 100% up to date.

Hey dido! Here are the screen captures from the latest FIFA09 update. Formations, transfers, squad numbers, and starting XI's are updated, even Guus Hiddink's new formation for Chelsea is in there. All the formations and starting XI's for each team are default, I didn't change anything except for Valencia where I moved Marchena from sub to CB and made him captain. I don't know why FIFA09 didn't include him in Valencia's default starting XI squad. I included international starting XI and formations as well. In your mod, Ricardo, Van Der Sar, Lehmann, and Coupet still play for their countries even though in real life, they are retired from national football.

A few things to note. In each bmp file (sorry, too lazy to convert all to jpg, my xbox360 screenshot program outputs bmp only), the captain for the team is highlighted in white. Also, in Fifa 09, RS/LS/ST (right/left/striker) is the equivalent of CF in PES, RF/LF/CF (right/left/centerfield) is the equivalent of shadow/second striker in PES. The number between the position and the player name is the squad number. The number to the right of the player name is the player's overall stat, you can ignore that number.

I don't have the screenshots of the subs and reserves for each team, only starting XI and updated formation. If anything's unclear and if there's anything else you need, let me know. Also, if you're creating a player, and you want player stats, I can see if he's available on FIFA09 and I can get his stats and traits for you.

thank you dashh, i am working on that now actually, yes a lot of things were not up to date in the 1.2, but the new one will have it all

for now there is up to 140 new players added, half of them are from teams in others, all latest transfers are done, national teams will be done according the latest matches played, ill be considering your post

thanks man for the screens, but,, i don't think its accurate, to give u example, chelsea, deco started only 2 of the last 15 matches, and he hardly plays as a winger! i don't think that FIFA is accurate, i am goin to put formations and starting IX according the last 10 games of each team.

yeah, i dont totally agree with some of the starting XI completely. deco has played RM before but it's not really one of his native positions. the fifa staff recruits fans to watch games for them so they can release these updates, but the fans could be biased for/against certain players. marchena (who is captain of valencia) not being in the starting XI completely shocked me. for chelsea tho, now then essien is back in form and playing again, maybe he can be deployed in RM instead of deco. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/7922079.stm

but these screens should help give you a general sense of who gets put in the starting XI, especially for teams you've never played, heard of, or watched. the formations are helpful tho because those are hard to find online elsewhere. when i was doing the starting XI and transfers for your mod (i stopped now), i used the fifa09 starting XI as a basic structure for each team, then adjusted it using wikipedia (to look up # of player appearances and captains).

so i can really figure out the starting IX, keeping in mind injuries and all, and i am using the screens u sent me for formation tweaks, this is going to be the most accurate and updated patch ever! if i dont get bored in the middle of it

wow, never looked at this website before. good find! i'd totally rely on the starting XI on these sites. the formations are preset tho it seems, so fifa09 formations are probably more exact for the little minor tweaks. do they have sites like this with startingXI for the bundesliga, serie A, and liga? i hardly get to watch those games even tho serie+bunda are my favorite leagues

the eurosport at yahoo have the EPL, championship, serie A, la liga, ligue 1 and bundesliga. its a pretty good reference for recent and archive matches.
