awsome work again here,promoted teams look quality! is it possible to do other promoted teams in other leagues ? just wondered cos i'm sure i read somewhere its not possible to overwrite licensed teams on pc version ?

Can't overwrite licensed teams. It's possible to do the promoted Spanish sides, but I only really watch English football, so that will require quite a lot of work. It's not possible however to overwrite the French, Dutch, or Italy relegated teams. The only way would be to add them to Teams B, but without their emblems, and they would be unable to be used in Master League, so I'm not sure it's worth it. I personally think it would be better to include someone like CSKA Moscow, but again that will take some work

NOW CONTAINS PROMOTED ENGLISH TEAMS, NEW 09-10 KITS AND TRANSFERS!!!!​

I've been working hard to update this file recently and am now ready to share my progress so far with this new update. So far we have...

+ Burnley added (so now have all 3 promoted teams)
+ Promoted teams now replace Newcastle, Middlesbrough, and West Brom in the English League
+ Newcastle, Middlesbrough, and West Brom are now in Teams B
+ All transfers confirmed so far have been done, including Diego to Juventus
+ New kits:
- Arsenal away & GK
- Aston Villa away
- Birmingham away
- Blackburn away
- Bolton home
- Chelsea home & GK
- Stoke away
- Wolverhampton home

- Newcastle home
- Bayern Munich home & GK


As this is an ongoing process, there are bound to be things that I miss or am not aware of yet. Feel free to assist me by making suggestions/pointing out errors so that I can make this option file as good as possible.

Hope you enjoy this update for now, there is more to come!

Thanks for your post-season OF. Can you please explain why your current OF seem to have another file "PES2009_OPTION01.bin" outside the "save" folder? If so, tell us the instructions about how we can copy it correctly to our save folders or we should just ignore it and copy only the save folder?

Very very very very well spotted. Although I think you meant Vallodolid, not Valencia.

That is exactly correct. The reason you are not seeing the classic teams is because you have not unlocked them. I have updated the file, and in the new update (just for you!) I have included a copy of my personal option file with everything unlocked. Just replace your one in the 'save' folder.

There's the answer to your question, liliyke. This has been on the zip folder for a while now, as you can see for the time of this post... :happy:

Exactly as MigueLopes said. I only included the option file for people who do not already have the classic teams unlocked. If you don't, then just copy this file to your save folder, replacing your old option file.



It seems as if Geocities has gone down again. I think they're having real problems at the moment and are closing down later this year. I guess I will have to find another free place to create a website, so that I can put my donate button on it (although I only received one £2 donation from about 10,000 downloads so far!). For now though, I've changed the link in the first post to go directly to my option file, so that Geocities' problems don't prevent any of you from enjoying this file

I thought you might try them out since Patric, as far as I've heard, is a young player resembling Maicon (Inter) and showing a lot of potential, and Ramires has just been called by Dunga for the main Brazilian national team (I don't suppose that just anyone can get there)...

Great work this patch! The promoted teams are a very nice add-on. Maybe you can also make VVV-Venlo / RKC Waalwijk in stead of FC Volendam / De Graafschap? These teams have promoted/degrated in the Dutch Eredivise.

It must not have updated completely. In game, go to settings, then download, to make sure you have the latest version

I just want to thank again for the one and only option file on the web, first of all for the following:

thanx for not making it for old versions (1.2), like others do, which doesn't make any sense
thanx for not making it a huuuuge 1 gig patch, which won't work properly anyway

glad you like it mate. not very clued up on the polish squad to be honest. i do plan to sort out some of the international teams soon, but i'm doing quite a lot of work on the club teams (see the update below!)

Added the new teams that have qualified for next season's champions league group stage, CSKA Moscow, FC Rubin Kazan, and FC Unirea Urziceni. Also added VFB Stuttgart as they have qualified for the previous qualifying round. Hope you enjoy it, there's more to come!

Hey I love your work. Was using your previous patch and now got the new one. Like a previous poster said, I'm glad it doesn't require additional programs and that it's compatible with version 1.4

I have one question.

I'm currently in my second season as Dynamo Kyiv in Master League mode. I just installed your newest update. This new update added FC Rubin Kazan that has the Ukrainian player Serhiy Rebrov.

Rebrov does not appear as a player when I search for him in the negotiations screen and I guess neither do any other new players. Will Rebrov ever appear in my Master League or is a new Master League game required for him and all new players to appear?

I'm afraid he won't appear, even if you start a new Master League. There are different types of players in the game, "normal" players for example fill up most of the club teams and are usable in the Master League. Another type are called "extended" players, which appear in some national teams and also in the Teams B section, such as Player B23, etc. These players can be used in exhibition mode and Champions League, but will not appear in Master League.

Some of the young stars I have created, such as Ljajic, Keirreson, Lulinha, etc. I have created over retired "normal" players, so that they will appear in Master League. There simply aren't enough "normal" players in which to make all created teams in this way. However, if these "extended" players are placed in a team playable in Master League, they will still appear in that team and be playable, although they won't appear on the negotiation screens, so you will be unable to sign them or renew their contracts.

Hope that makes sense!

Both have been created (using stats from Pes Stats Database) and Ramires has also been added to the Brazil team, which now matches the Confederations Cup squad. They will be available in the next update.

As well as creating some new players (including Taison), I've also added Real Zaragoza. I don't have much info on Tenerife or Xerez, so if anyone does, please gimme a shout.

Once the Spanish promoted clubs are confirmed, I will try to include these in place of Betis, Numancia, and Recreativo. I don't however plan to create the promoted French, Dutch, or Italian teams, as these leagues are licensed and not editable. Therefore, if I did create them, they would only be available in exhibition, but not Master League, so I didn't really see the point. If people have strong opinions on this, you are welcome to voice them.

As for the remaining team slots, I was leaning planning to look at including more possible Champions League 09-10 teams, such as Zurich, Dynamo Bucuresti, Sivasspor, Dynamo Moscow, but none of these are guaranteed to qualify, so I am not totally convinced. Again, I would be interested in hearing sensible ideas on what to do with these slots.

I think if you put team kits in a kitserver would be much better kits than the ones already in your file,why don't you insert the kits from my patch into your file (it will require game files update other than the OF) ? just a suggestion...
