PC Troubleshooting Thread (PES 2009 FULL GAME ONLY)

Well this is just great...I installed the patch...and now, whenever i try to run it...it just freezes at the very beginning (black screen with the little stars in the bottom of the screen on the left). great job Konami...guess i have to re-install it for the third time...I'm seriously gonna cry anytime soon...gimme a solution..please...somebody help me!

Help!!

PES2009. Whenever i get promoted to the first division, somehwhere at the beginning, my game crashes, the last saved game icon disappears, and the saved game appears with no icon to it. If i try to open that saved game, the game craches, and tell me that i have preformed an illegal operation. If i play an older saved game, the game crashes, then that saved game icon also disappears, and when i load any of those saved games the same happens. I formatted my PC to get rid of this, and reinstalled the game but it happened again. Please help !

- Windows XP
- ATI radeon HD 3650 512MB

Never ever format your PC for problems like this as it will not resolve your problems.

What patches do you have installed? If any, are these new games you started after installing the patch?

anyone can solve my problem??????

Re-download the Microsoft C++ Redistributable from here (32-bit Windows only) or another location for 64-bit Windows. If that doesn't help I have no idea at all.

pes 2009 crashing

I have the exact same problem
I can play the game with no problems at all for a few weeks or so, and then suddenly...when i enter a game...5-7 of the players' got blure rings around them, and none of the buttons work, only the right and left analog sticks...and the d-pad :/
Then, when i try to enter "Player Settings" the game just crashes.



I have the same problem too.

Okay guys, I need your help...
I just install Windows Vista on my notebook and reinstalled PES 2009.
I have patched to 1.20 and "downloaded" the update. However there seems to be a problem...I can't change my resolution whatsoever...I have Kitserver installed. I have tried changing through the settings.exe and forcing it through kitserver...still no luck.. this is annoying me as I cannot play fullscreen...

Any thoughts?

EDIT: I had to lower down my gfx level to MEDIUM in order for it to work... is there any way make it work with HIGH? on my previous XP, it was okay on HIGH...

I can't help. If your resolution is 1280x800 or lower and your save game has stopped working under 1.0 then you can't keep playing it unless by patching the game to 1.1 or 1.2 the save game becomes playable again. However, it won't. You'll have to start a new game.

Please also note Wan that I can't read a single word of the error message because you haven't provided a link to full-size pictures. "Luckily", this thread is littered with the problem you've had so I immediately know what your problem is.

How do you chat in the lobby, all I see in the manual is use 'auto login' which I do, so how come when I press every last button on my keyboard/ps controller no cursor or word bar comes up to let me chat? Kol

Ok I just installed the game and I'm having some problems.

The KONAMI won't show up in Program files, it only shows up on my desktop where the file is I think. What did I do wrong? Cause I don't know where to copy the patch and the Konami official 1.2 patch won't work (that's the error on the top right.

It's saved to NEW FOLDER as seen on the desktop.

I played the game and it works fine, just a little confused.

Re-install the game without the downloaded patch, ensure music is working and try to install the patch again. Clearly something has gone wrong when applying the patch.

Crashes

Well, i have the same problem of most ppl...and it seems it haven't been resolved.

My configs: AMD Phenom 9750 Quad-Core 2.4ghz
2GB RAM DDR2 400mhz
POWERCOLOR ATI RADEON HD 3870 512MB DDR3 (pci-e)

I got other PC with lower configs :
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 2.0ghz
1.5GB RAM DDR 333mhz
SAPPHIRE ATI RADEON 9600 XT 256MB DDR2 (agp)

PES 2009 works in both PCs, and crashes in both too. I thought the problem could be with my PCs but I play so many other games and never crashes.

The game crashes in any mode of pes2009 when the ball goes out of play or when the game is preparing to begin (the little stars screen). When the game is loaded it never crashes when ball is in game, it crashes when i have a throw in, or a corner, or a foul, or when i go to 2nd half.

I have all latest drivers in both pc, i tried with patches 1.1 and 1.2 and keep crashing. I tried a resolution fix and even install the konami patch every time before open pes2009 and it doesnt work too. i tried to reinstall directx, change directx dlls and i already formated my pc (not because the game) and nothing resolves....

I got the same problems (identical) with pes2008 too. I played pes3,4,5,6 and never got this problems.

Someone knows if pes2009 have problems with some kind of hardware? ATI, AMD maybe?? And if someone knows any kind of solution even if so bizarelly pls let me know, i just cant play one match without crash, even trainning.

Right here is my problem guys:
I have just bought my copy of the game yesterday, brand new, from a trust worthy shop called GAME.
But when i try installing my game, it gets to the part where it says copying new files, gets about half way through and then says this:

And whenever i pres retry it starts it off again and then says the error again after waiting all that time it takes again.
Please if anyone has any ideas on how to solve this i would really apprecieate it.
I havent downloaded any patches or anything like that.

Do you know the name and model number of your CD/DVD drive? Please provide the hardware specs of your PC and do the following too:

Go to Start Menu -> Control Panel -> System -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager -> IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers -> Right-click on the first item. Click on Properties -> Details tab (for non-generic controllers this is the Resources tab) and in the dropdown menu find Bus Relations. This will tell you which drive you're changing the rules for - you want to find the one for your CD or DVD drive, not the ones for your hard drive. Hopefully the description will begin with something like "IDE\CdRom". Once you have discovered it, click on the Advanced Settings tab and change the Transfer Mode to PIO Only. See if that helps you to install the game or not.

Hey man thanks for replying, how do you find out the CD/DVD Drive name and model number.
And my specs are:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz 2.40GHz
Memory (Ram): 3.00 GB
System Type: 32-bit Operating System

And in the drop down box it does not show the option Bus Relations.
Any other ideas man?
