PES 2010 Crashing.

I noticed it crashes just b4 the match, while in the tunnel just b4 they run out onto the pitch. I am wondering if this has got anything to do with using an option file cause i noticed lastyear on PES 2009 after loading an option file it just started to randomly freeze.

For me it's random!! But Konami as stupid as ever! Look at Activision or Infinity Ward and EA making these games with minimal flaws! And Konami can't do "Sheeeeeeeeeeeeet".

But then again, Id rather have the Pro flaws than the Fifa flaws this year!

Yes it could very well be the result of an Option File.

Konami deserve criticism but not for problems likely encountered as a result of an Option File they have not created.

What console is this for? I've heard of this happening with a few people on the PS3 to be honest, especially in the tunnel so it sounds familiar. Chances are though it's as a result of the Option File as already mentioned, so probably best to remove it and maybe try it again, or another Option File.

I hate this crashing! it happens to me once every time i play!

last night played a european cup game it was playing really well and smooth I won 3 - 0 was a really good game
didnt save it because i had a shite team next in the league

BLAM CRASHES!! freezes in the tunnel always the same place but the sound carries on.

turn off ps3 and back on

Took me 5 attempts at the cup game again and it played so rubbish after wards i kept loosing like 3-0 what the #£@~!!! bumping into each other scrambling for the ball!! rubbish

serious I swear the game playes really well the first time you turn on your ps3 if you reset or restart it plays shite!

i havent dl an option file yet but i can confirm it does crash in the tunnel before kick off, so it is konamis fault and not the OF makers.

Okaaaay, It's definately Konami's fault then, i wondered why and the same thing happened in PES 2009.

just out of curiousity i had the same problem but worse my game crashed in da tunnel bit every 2-3 games until i noticed that i still had my custom konami playlist up from the last game so i decided to delete it and i dunno why but for some reason now the game hasnt crashed once and yesterday i went 22 games without a crash so maybe the playlist could be somtin to do with it .. if not for u then it was for me

Nope im running the standard game!! i havnt changed anything NO OPTION FILES!! just done the updates as you have to when you play the game and installed it to the hard drive still crashes all the time!!

I cant really c how that happens, unless it depends on how much save data each user has. eg= I've got loads of demo's, replays, videos,music, option file datas, etc, while on the other hand my girl is a user as well but she aint got all the shit like i've got on my profile. Therefore she has less saved data on her account. I think i'm gonna try playing some games on her profile and see if it crashes still, and if it doesn't i think we r on to some thing.

Mine used to freeze on the calendar screen. It would freeze during the end of the season during march and on and then after season 2 it would lock me out and i had to restart the master league...my solution???it was my system file. apparently SOMEHOW my system file went bad because i have not had a problem since. i just deleted it and saved a new one when i started up the game...the bad part is i lost ALL the players that i had unlocked and had to do it again but i have not crashed since

I get what you're saying but we got a new PS3 only a few weeks ago. We never download anything, I checked both users he has five saved datas, three are FIFA10 and two are PES2010. I have nine, three are PES2010, the four are replays and the others are Uncharted. There are no demo's on our PS3, pictures, music or videos. I'm in two minds of what it could be causing it to crash...

I think you could be right their mate, I've only had PES2010 since the other day. I've not had a crash yet (touch wood) but my brother has. My fingers are crossed at the moment...

I guess until we know exactly whats causing the problem we will have to just keep rebooting. I only hope this crashing/rebooting doesn't affect my PS3 in any way, cause i'd really be pissed. If its Konami's fault they should resolve this if possible asap. I also noticed that if you press start at the beggining (b4 cut scene) this will lower the chances of crashing. I feel there is a bug in the opening scene.
