Name is in the title really, just never had the PC version of PES, if anyone can tell me which one they think is better for whatever reason that would be hugely beneficial towards my decision to get PES 2012 :D!!

PC all the way. If you have a decent PC which you can crank up the settings to high. For whatever reason PC plays much better. I had the pes210 and pes2011 for PC, PS3 and the 360. PC always played better. Xbox 360 played almost as good as the PC and the PS3 was always jerky and not smooth. I don't know why.

Not to mention PS3 version's graphics are grainy for PES. I still have both consoles by the way so this is a neutral opinion.

So I say PC>360>PS3 ;)

PC is usually better, but I tend to get PS3 based on a) My PC isn't very good anymore, and b) I've got a big comfy leather chair downstairs.

Great thread - I'm in the process of moving from PES11 on PS3 to PC. It is a huge process downloading the large patches/files (I'm hoping to run the latest Fire Patch with Jenkeys EPL Stadium patch so I can play the most realistic ML with Everton). But I am a noob when it comes to PC's so it is all very confusing and a bit frustrating trying to find some clear tutorials (a guy on evo-web has been helpful though).

I imagine ill still get PES12 on PS3 when it comes out but if I can get my PC sorted Ill probably use that most of the time. I'm chasing the ultimate broadcast simulation of the Premier League with the correct camera angles, scoreboards, stadiums and player likeness.

I will go for the PC because of the editing. NOTHING ELSE. Because the game plays the same on every platform.:)

I have it for pc but would prefer it for 360 for the online. Pc version is terrible for cheating but the patches are the bollox.I've got my pc connected to my tv so it's just like a console.

PC is good for installing patches and faces . But i think ps3 is better for its gameplay reality

PC is good only if you have a very decent ($$$) computer which can run the game with everything set to high quality.
Otherwise, stick to the PS3.
I don't recommend the 360, option files are a pain in it.

Cheers guys, someone said the online isn't as good, I normally tend to just play Master League a whole shit load most of the time and on the xbox the patches and OF's are average compared to the ones I've seen on PC, plus its annoyingly hard to download them to the harddrive :/

360 all the way! just because its much more friendly on there and feels right playing it on a huge t.v and couch. PC rapes for patches though and all you need is a controller to replace the keyboard for playing.
PS3 has good editing too, but PS3 is prone to hacking and in my opinion is just generally worse than 360.

360= best online by miles due to the communication but cost money .Shit for patches but doable.Best control pad for pes as left analogue is in primary possession.
ps3 =Free online and best for patches for consoles.Judging by this siteand what i've been told the biggest pes community.
Pc=Best patches .Choice of ps3 or 360 control pad .Terrible amounts of cheater's online. Not many people online compared to consoles .Not many Brits online.

It's so funny how defensive people get over the system they are using totally pathetic.

Once is double that of 360 ;) then again the 360 can red light.

 True.

Though it appears the PS can overheat & suffer the same effective fate.

All systems have their flaws. Just depends what you're willing to put up with!

This is not really a discussion worth having. PC wins by miles. You can mod more, there are 3rd party editors that make option file making a walk in the park and you're one click away from the next updated OF without any hassle.

The only viable argument for console is that it's easier to sit in the couch while playing, although I prefer my comfy office chair over the couch any day.

Besides, console are the reason why games aren't better than they are today, so why support stagnation?
