My view:

I like the game, i already think its better than 2011.

Its easier to play and will attract more fans to the game.

Bad points:

GK still crap

Long rangers float in the goal.. i want to be able to wack it in.

Running with the ball seems a bit rigid

shooting overall needs to improve

they need to get rid of that stupid over head kick thing players do.

Played 2 player yesterday and waaaay to many fouls even when u just run into someone.. to stop start.

off the ball controls need to be more responsive and easier to use

As mentioned dribbling unrealistic

overall i think its promising and hopefully they listen to the feedback and improve what is needed.

Before i even played the demo, i was thinking to myself why and how is AC MILAN better than manchester united??????? The best team on the game should be barcelona followed extremely closely by manchester united and then 3rd place is real madrid. AC MILAN does not even come in the top 8 best teams/most successfull teams of 2010/2011 so how on earth are there team stats better than manchester united?

Now to the demo play:

GOOD=
1. Not much things good to say apart from the substitutes running on the touch line LOL.

BAD=
1. Once the opposition gets past your defenders he will take it around your goal keeper with a 100% sucess rate!
2. Passing system is way to erm.. stupid.
3. Through ball is almost impossible unless your through balling it to your winger.
4. Fouls galore, for the slightest touch on the player.

OVERAL= Ive pre ordered this game for £29, thinking to cancel.

This is the main thing I need improved...

1. Enough with the LARGE stadiums, have realistic pitches with PROPER chanting that isn't repeated over and over.

2. commentaters being changed to ones who add value to a game and make it more in depth, not every game is a wide angled champions league final!!!


And other than that, please please please have some sort of online gimmick like Ultimate Team with continual support to have me coming back for more and not just offline master leagues like the past few games!!

This along with regular transfer/injury updates and NOT STUPID BOOT UPDATES, NOONE IN THE WORLD CARES ABOUT UPDATED GAME BOOTS!!!!

My main gripe with the demo is how awful the keepers are. I really cannot believe how bad some of the goalkeeping AI is. Your keeper can go from making a fantastic save to letting a weak shot go straight past him. It's ridiculous.

I had one where a free-kick was whipped in from the left (it wasn't even a shot), yet my keeper dived forwards, completely missing the ball and it ended up in the corner.

The worst was in my 2nd ever game. Falcao goes through one on one, De Gea saves the ball, but it keeps moving slowly towards goal - so De Gea gets up and runs after it, dives like superman on top of the ball, but the momentum takes both he and the ball past the line. It looked terrible. :/

brilliant ideas for improvements but guys remeber its only a demo and + the full game is out in 3 months so sadly i dont think we are going to see drastic improvments

Yeah the goal keepers are rubbish, cant hold on to the ball its like a hot potato to them... I've realised why it's so slow, and many others may of realised this too...
On "System Settings" there is an option of "Game speed" it's on 0 by default. change it up to +1 or +2, it's a much better game already becuase of the speed...
So I apologise if my initial review was awful.. :)
PES 2012 is much better than PES 2011 in gameplay.

There is a message at the start of the demo after you "press any button".
The gist of it says something like its not the finished project yet etc... so even the creators know the demo's crap..
So I think we'll have to wait for the second demo to make a decision on it..
ill still buy it either way..

First of all, this demo is not even the full demo and they only did it to get feedback. Transfers will be sorted out hopefully in the actual game and this demo is not even how the game will be in terms of gameplay.

Yep, missed PES2011, coz they did a horrible job and after playing DEMO i was not excited at all... Ohh well it looks like Fifa again this year...

WOW, i just realized i joined this website in 2004...LOL!

I only had time to play two 10 min matches on the 2012 demo. after a few seconds i entered the settings, removed all of the passing assists and wow the game is looking great, literally i was playing passes i never expected to on PES. Shooting seems more realistic than 2011, i did get a few power shots from long range, i also curlled one past De gea from 25 yards along the floor!

Need more time to get a better feel of the real positives and negatives, still had a few moments where player selection was akward to say the least!.

Also my biggest disapointment was the speed of the game - way to fast in my opinion, i played 45mins at -2 Speed, it was magic!

i hope Konami have spent lots of time adding features to MLO, the only thing that keeps me playing!

Yeah and that's also the reason we have so many fat children nowadays. It's funny, adults pay for these video games, so one would think that an adult is well within his right to use or enjoy something that he payed for.

It's also funny how you mention "sad 30 year old who cannot find a women" yet you completely ignored the possibility of "sad children whom are too physically unfit to actually do what children are supposed to do, because they spend the entire day playing video games" -- generalizations work both ways.
