Pes 2012 totally sucks!

Why should i said this. Every year we've been fooled by KONAMI. They always giving us a false hope. There's too much unlicensed team and national team also. Replacing a real players with fake players. There's much more to said. I'm totally sick with PES even the gameplay much more better than FIFA! I prefer FIFA no matter what. That's my first football game that i've played.

You're entitled to your opinion about PES 2012. I personally think it's the most well-rounded and solid PES ever released on the Xbox 360. PES6 will probably never be beaten on the Xbox 360 in terms of online play (it was flawless), but unfortunately PES6 wasn't so well-rounded in terms of it's other features.

Yes we know. It's been like that forever though, complaining about this now is really pointless. KONAMI are never going to be able to compete on the licence front, but what they do give you is a vast editing system so you can edit teams to make them who they are supposed to be, plus there is endless patches and options files you can download from people who have already done this.

I'm assuming this is referring to gameplay being poor on Pes and better on Fifa. Pes gameplay has evolved over the last few years and some like the changes some don't but most of us have slowly got used to it and are now reaping the benefits of the new gameplay.

I prefer FIFA no matter what. That's my first football game that i've played.

This kind of make me wonder why your here in the first place. If you prefer FIFA no matter what, it wouldn't matter if PES was the best most realistic football game ever made, you would still blindly go and play FIFA.

I play FIFA as well as PES, I prefer PES, but I wouldn't knock FIFA that much, I just find the more "Arcade" style of PES more fun than the tactical battle of FIFA, I find scoring goals on PES more rewarding than FIFA.

But if you prefer FIFA, I guess you know the answer to all your PES problems.

when pes plays without the AI deciding who is most likely to win it is bliss, a wonderful game, the better representation of football compared to others attempts.

However, I agree PES2012 does suck - because the AI scripting online is too blatent. Why can Konami not comprehend the fact a user Vs user match will have swings and ebbs and flows without the AI handicapping and scripting us towards an unfair result. There is no need for the startling AI issues...

1) The three pass rule >>>>> noticable when the Konami AI has it in for you. Even with a super star squad putting three passes together is almost impossible. Your players ball control will be crippled, many touches taken before the attempted pass. Add to this the extra boost your opponent gets when closing down etc and WHAMMMM - the three pass rule is activated.

2) Your GK must be a Bruce Grobbelaar rule >>>>> Come on now, we have all been there, for no apparent reason your GK does a 'Brucie'. Refusing to tend the Goal, often falling to his kness and letting the ball cluelessly trickle between his thighs. Claims of... "You cheating bribing little *****." often accompany rule #2

3) The "I cant even take a center kick" rule >>>>> opponent players are on you within a flash, gone are the days of a 'deadly center' now it seems rule 1 has been impied straight from kick off! thanks!

4) The you will not score rule - Despite playing the worst ranked opponent in history and having a far superior squad of talent at your disposal, rule 4 can be a disc breaker! even with all of the scripting against you, you are stuill good enough to maul you weak opponent and create many scoring chances, only nobody on your team can beat the GK and the goal posts.

5) all they have to do is press shot to score rule >>>>> another disc breaker, many times i am against the scripting (it can be felt) and i say "go on mate, hit it, it WILL go in " Ruskin bursts past your CB and hits a shot that takes four defelctions before finaly (with the help of a Grobbelaar) ending up in the net! disgusting - but you knew it was comming!

6) The "here have a freekick rule" >>>>> not to be confused with a positive scripting, EVERY time you skin a player or get the chance to spilt open your opponents defense with a through ball, you get fouled. The resulting freekick is scripted for you to miss, the three pass rule has now been added and the chance fritters away to nothing! How can you maon - you got the free-kick didn't you???


To be honest the list of rules is probably endless, but these are the most notable for my playing style when the AI is against me.

Anyone experienced these rules? or is it just me?

I ve been dying of frustration since. U jst totally spoke my mind. I ve experienced all the AI unfairness. Its totally insane. AI seldom miss, They seem to anticipate all my moves especially tackles. Watching an AI opponent survive all the pressure from two of my defenders while he runs on never losing the ball. We manage to put a foot on the ball and its a foul. Need I mention that my fastest players get closed down and caught up by seemingly slow AI defenders while my defenders happily escort opponents into the box while my keeper is like "go on take the shot. its not like they pay me well enough". Like you said the list is endless. Ive been a PES fan since winning eleven. I had it up to here in 2012 and i say PES totally sucks. And am switching to Fifa in 2013 coz I still dont see konami fixin this. I jst uninstalled my PES 2012 after losing miserably like a beginner

I don't understand why so many people hate on PES 12. I have played both and PES gameplay just felt right to me. PES isn't a bad game, sure they have licenses but its not like FIFA is a complete package either. Example, FIFA doesn't have Japan National Team, PES does.
They both have their ups and downs. It comes down to personal preference.
