If were lucky, we could get info about licenses and modes aswell as gameplay which is going to be shown. The guys at WENB say that its going to be a big trailer so hopefully it'll last longer than 5 mins

i hope that konami will add bundesliga in the game i mean cmon they could always do an unlicenced one.... and i hope they will get more licences and make loads of changes otherwise im not sure if ill buy it...

Don't understand why people are too frustrated about the teaser. IMO, its what KONAMI finally need to get their fans back, good advertising and marketing. I was actually surprised KONAMI would go in a path like this, it sounds way too professional for KONAMI. Atlast, a great teaser to put things back on track

that's a good point, however it was a non-game 3d graphics over video, oldest trick in the book. We already know the game won't look anything like that so they were better off having the real Ronaldo walk down those steps. EA still slaughters Konami in marketing and advertisement.

You got a point there, however KONAMI wanted to prove to fans that this game won't be all fun and arcadey, it'll be a game with a new dimension, imitating reality hence the line 'Talk is cheap etc.' It brings a feel to it that KONAMI are taking us seriously. That advert you showed is more of an advert you'd expect after the making of the game and if that was the trailer KONAMI showed yesterday, it'd get a lot more criticism, mainly negative. It depends on the way you look at it, eventhough it shows nothing about the game, it shows KONAMI are putting up an effort in selling it - with all the sound effects and lighting etc.

i think you are right - that is the real person walking down the stairs but then a cgi of him when he reached the field.

I felt seabass talking cheap when talking pre-release 2012. Looking back, he was promoting diagonal runs so much. Then the game comes out and it is the same trajectory of diagonal over and over. Then I buy FIFA 12 and I see diagonal runs, circular runs, figure 8 runds, CPU off the ball trying to juke me out from marking, stepping in front of me in the box, and so on. what a difference.

PES 2012 flopped in my opinion - the AI was the only major aspect I saw improved. I agree that FIFA have all those runs but the difference between the runs in FIFA and PES is that in PES, the AI is more sophisticated and know the perfect times to do them runs you spot. For example, in FIFA I was trying to hold a 1-0 lead by playing a lot more defensive however in the last 10 minutes but Defenders are bombing forward every attack unline when it was 0-0. Like you said, the improvements in PES 2012 wasn't enough when compared to the elements that were degraded from PES 2011.

But we don't know what PES 2013 has to offer. We just know CR7 will be on the cover promoting it but the guys at WENB have said it'll be a surprise package with revamped Gamemodes and new licenses, especially from the Americas

Do you know what sells a product? Details of the product itself. Konami seriously cant start selling the game while they don't even have anything about the game itself. Doesn't make marketing sense at all. Don't tell me to buy the product; show me why I should buy the product.

Then why does FIFA outsell KONAMI? Simple, is because of their reviews, adverts on TV, marketing style and the margins etc. Its not only because of the gameplay - many peoples minds are eluded to what other people hear instead of inspecting the game itself. KONAMI could outsell FIFA with decent gameplay with no bugs and with their advertising easily, they just fail with things such as licenses etc. Gameplay is the hugest thing in selling but a game with bugs and crappy advertising would sell less than a game with bugs and decent advertising. So aslong as they fix the bugs, they are gonna sell a lot more this year and by marketing it makes the whole thing look more professional than Amateur if you get what I'm saying
