i think it would be cool wiv man utd licensed but i rekon they shud do what they did in pes 3 where u could choose to have an edited kit or the original kit but with all the licensed teams aswel as all the unlicensed ones. u cud do that in pes 3 wiv all the teams apart from th licensed ones i.e. juventus, milan and feyenoord etc.

Licensing

Hi.. I've just finished reading the September Official Playstation 2 Magazine and In this theres a few pages of PES5 and a small bit on licensing it confirms that Around 5 premiership teams will be licensed Arsenal, Chelsea are two mentioned and i think the other three (not confirmed) would be Man Utd, Liverpool and Newcastle. Celtic and Rangers have definately got full licensing and Rosenburg (Norway), Galatasaray (Turkey), FC Copenhagen (Denmark), Dynamo Kiev (Ukraine), FC Porto (Portugal) are also mentioned as the other licensed teams. If anyone has a camera or scanner to scan these pages to confirm there are shots of FC Porto playing Galatasaray and Chelsea playing the Gunners in the redcurrant kit!
The other screen shot is of Rangers playing Real Madrid with both licenses on them.
Theres also a mention that konami are aiming for the PES game to be fully licensed on the PS3..which isn't a surprise really is it?
I'd personally like the option of editing and then it be just a case of changing the team to what you want.
I'd be surprised to not see Fenerbahce as Anelka moved there didnt he and i think they've done quite well in the Turkish League again recently.

Sounds like good news.

But, if you bought the magazine; then why can't you scan the article?

I haven't bought that magazine you're talking about so I would appreciate it if you could scan it, upload it onto imageshack and post it here.

Nothing confirmed yet about the French and German league being fully licensed. Someone posted something about but i didn't hear anything about it anymore.

My shitty scanner software.

I've tried to install my scanner software today so i can scan the pages of the OP2M like i said in my earlier posts the pictures do show Galatasaray playing Porto in the licensed kits and Rangers Versus Real with licensed kits.
Unfortunately my software cd won't load past the install stage.. i've selected all my options and it just sits there on the install screen with nothing happening.. I pressed CTRL, Alt & Delete and it just says the application isnt responding.. it may be a mem problem on my pc or a connection problem if i can get some pics up on this thread the fans of the pes series will have official playstation 2 magazine proof of the licenses.

Where it says the 3 other english teams

Pro Maniac says: RedDevilPesfan ive got the magazine too but i was just wondering where you read about there beng three other english teams coz i cant see it

I Say: Its on the section called "Show me your license sir" in a small yellow box on page 84 Of the september issue.
However its now been confirmed in the OP2M review 10/10 in october issue which i bought today one of the small picks shows the Man U crest in game and they're playing Everton.. its looks as though Man U arent licensed .. Chelsea and Arsenal are though and i suppose thats because Terry and Thierry are front faces for the game.
